Home Building
$18,700
The Lee Co. building inspector, Joey Davenport, put a stop order on the job. Nothing was up to code. Mr. Burke's card says that he's licensed. He's not licensed in the State of Georgia. So, he didn't get the building permit that he charged me for. Everything that he did in that room had to be torn out. It cost me $4,600.00 just to turn it back into a bedroom, and that doesn't cover the home inspector, bldg pernit, and the new septic man that came in to fix his mess. That cost was $2,550.00. I've had to hire an attorney, his retainer bill was $2,500. All this cost and not one nail has been driven in the mother-in-law suite yet! Please, take it from me, don't deal with him, run!!!!! Mr. Burke talks a big story and tell you what a good christen he is. I assuming that we all know that he is a liar and a thief.
