"Mr. [member name removed] review is totally false and misleading. The address that he gives for this review is an address that I have never had any reference to or knowledge of in any manner. The chimney repair on the home that I worked on was not part of the contract and was not mentioned during the original consultation. The chimney is a wood frame chimney. After Mr. [member name removed] complained of a leak (months after the roof was applied),I explained to and showed Mr. [member name removed] pictures that clearly showed that the chimney was leaking around the rotten areas of the chimney above the roof line and not the roof itself. There was leaf debris and natural debris piled up several inches behind the chimney. The roof itself has never leaked in any area of the home. Mr. [member name removed] made several false statements in the original court hearing. He had no witnesses. no proof of wrong-doing, and nothing of factual value to present to the Court. He was told by the presiding Judge to come back when he had a legitimate case. However, Mr. [member name removed] elected to not pursue that action. I would presume that, after discussing his case with an Attorney, Mr. [member name removed] realized that he did not have a case based on what was agreed to in the contract. Mr. [member name removed] has made several false accusations in an effort to hurt my business and my character. I have telephone records, etc to prove that I answered each and every one of his telephone calls or other contacts. This is simply a case of someone trying to force (through threat of Court action) a contractor to perform a service without pay. My company has been fully vindicated in this matter."
