Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
Matt did a carpentry job for us that was very satisfactory. We hired him again a couple of months later (two weeks before Labor Day) to do two tile jobs simultaneously. He had both of them mostly completed by the Friday before Labor day, with a promise to be back on Tuesday to finish up. I paid him in full. One of the jobs is a shower remodel. The shower will not drain properly, due to an error in the mud bed he created to lay the floor tile in. We did not know this until Labor Day when the grout had set and it was okay to use the shower. When Matt did not show up on Tuesday, I called and mailed him multiple times for the next two weeks, but got no reply. I now have to hire someone to complete the work and repair the shower floor.
