Life Time Fitness Sugarloaf

Yoga classes are hard to get into. AS A VERY NEW MEMBER- 2 weeks; I should have been told that “7:05” in a 7:00 class is too late and that I would be locked out! Very jarring. First class was a bust and I was not informed on the class policy. After dropping my daughter off at childcare at 6:55 and getting an employee to escort me to a HIDDEN YOGA ROOM at 7:05; I was locked out! I knocked but nothing! The employee even texted the instructor still nothing. After that I tried to just jump in an OUTDOOR Zumba class but was told I could not do that either. Left the gym with my head low and spirits down. - I feel as though I was just sold on purchasing the membership and after that was done I was thrown away! Unacceptable!

It is extremely clean. It's the cleanest place I have ever been. It has great amenities in terms of how it looks, the amount of work out equipment issues are rare, and you never have to wait for pieces of equipment. I also have a personal trainer there. They have an excellent pool, excellent basketball area, and just excellent services. They also have Pilates instructions there and they have a wide variety of group fitness classes. They also have a run club and I have participated. It's very comprehensive, the people are very well trained, and they know their business. It is a good gym. The pricing is a little on the expensive side, but other than that, I can't think of anything that they can improve on.

Life Time Fitness at Sugarloaf is a big, clean gym with lots of classes and things like this. It's also located conveniently to my home.

They have a pretty good program. It is a large facility. They have a large membership but I still found that it was pretty convenient as far as machines and that type of thing being available, even at the busier times of the day, like 5.30 or 6 o' clock. We went a lot of times through the winter months. They have a swimming pool facility and they have programs set up for children in the summer months. There is pretty much anything there. They have squash courts and a daycare kind of facility there, so when I go to work out, there are places for my kids to stay. I think it goes up to 12 years old, so they have a section for smaller kids and then there is a bigger section where the older kids can play. They also have programs where they have like mother and daughter night and a father and daughter night and different things like that. So, they pretty much cater to anything that I could possibly want. Then they have a date night thing scheduled and then they have different programs where they get the children involved in learning different recreational sports and stuff like that. They have a lot of things.

My husband has gone more than I have. I was going weekly. They have a friendly staff but they don't have too many staff members so they were very welcoming and tried to help with whatever I needed. They were not overbearing and didn't point out mistakes. Everyone seemed to be very comfortable and enjoying their situations as much as they could since it is a gym. There are people of all sizes, ages, shapes and nationalities that go there. I had a bad experience with the whole initiation process. I think it was just the marketing person who sold it to us. He didn't give us the right information at the right time so we missed out on a few deals that we could have gotten. The price is pretty good for all that we get with it. We haven’t gotten any emails in the past year. We overpaid and they are holding some of our money and we are trying to get it back. They have a great pool and we are trying to put it on hold for the summer.

It's a huge fitness club, and virtually no one is available to help you with unless you opt for a personal trainer.
