Not happy. Once we gave them most of their money we heard many empty promises from them on finishing the last details, with Kenny on the cell phone even saying, and quot;I am coming today and never showing. They finally stopped returning our calls. I even sent emails to the company hoping for a response and never heard back. We could have pursued warranties and further action, but my husband was so disgusted by the stress we went through with them that after weeks of headache he didn't ever want anything else to do with them. We've since had to hire another roofer to repair flashing that they installed incorrectly around the chimney and another seam. It leaked substantially before we shelled out another to the other roofer to fix it. We went with top-of-the-line gutters and the most visible gutter of the whole house overflowed from the beginning and looks bad from water marks. I was so disappointed with my experience and am surprised they're still in business after how they ditched us when we still needed them.

Housworth was the most responsive of all 6 companies we contacted. Roofing companies were hard to come by with all the storms Atlanta had this past summer (2013). Housworth was able to get an estimator to us the next day (on a Saturday morning.) John arrived on time, was very professional, and easy to talk to. The replacement windows had to be special ordered (the previous owner was an and quot;almost carpenter!and quot;) John arranged for a rep from the window manufacturer to come by to take measurements. The rep was also on time, professional and amiable. He told us the windows would take about 10 days.
The only somewhat negative comment we have is the communication between the time of the window order and the start date. We had to call Housworth after the 10 days had passed to learn the windows were ready. We were told to expect a call with a start date. Housworth called a few days later (on a Friday) and wanted to begin work the following Tuesday.
The crew arrived on time and worked non-stop all day for 2 days. They did an excellent job cleaning up the roofing nails, shingles, and broken glass (from the old, single pane, garden window - not the new ones!) We were quite pleased, however, there was a communication problem regarding the and quot;finishingand quot; of the window. The crew left the area under the now recessed windows without concrete siding to match the rest of the house. Housworth responded immediately and had the crew back the next day. We couldn't be happier with the finished product. We would definitely use this company again.

These people are wonderful. Even on a Sunday morning, they are prompt, efficient, effective, and left the area clean. What more could you ask?

From start to finish, job was performed in an excellent manner!

They were complete and they pointed out problems. They were very efficient and they did a good job.

They helped me get insurance coverage. They did some work for me and discover some hail damage and I got a new roof for basically nothing that I need anyways for the insurance company.

Flushing was done improperly on both crickets adjoing to chimneys. As a result had significant leaks from those locations through the roof and ceiling. Correct way to do it is to install "step flushing". They just laid single peice of metal instead, so the rain water can flow laterally, so it happened. In addition to that the other contractor that I hired to investigate and fix the roof leak found a hammer hole in the single piece of flushing, that added to overall leak, quite significantly, that I had all carpet wet in my bedroom. That contractor also confirmed, that step flushing must have been installed, not just one flat piece of metal. I called Houseworth Roofing several times and sent this information to them so they re-do flushing, but got no response whatsoever. The owner called me right back which was good. They came the next day and identified the problem easily with the sniffers. They dealt with it efficiently. The price was probably reasonable, as I do not remember the price. They fixed the leak in one place and the next day I found another for which they came promptly to fix but they did not charge me for it. They responded very quickly.They were telling me that they had a bigger problem that they did not solve.

Houseworth twice scheduled Bernardo, their Director of Site Operations, to look at my roof. He was a no show both times with no explanation even though I called a second time to reconfirm the second appointment. As a result, I wasted significant portions of two days waiting for them. I was pleased with their work four years ago; however, if their lack of professionalism and courtesy is an example of their current work ethic then I can no longer recommend them.

They were very prompt in scheduling an appointment and detailing out their estimate. They added more than what I had asked for but did not push the extras on me at all. The estimator was professional, and they followed up in a couple of days to see if I had any questions. Eventually, I decided to go with another company but in hindsight wish I had contracted with Houseworth.

They are excellent. They call you back and show up when they are supposed to or let you know if they are running late. I have also used them as a contractor where they have gotten other services for me. They have recommended excellent people.

This job should have taken 2 days and instead took 6 weeks. They were hard to get a hold of, and when we did schedule a time for them to come out, they were no-shows. The president of the company called us to see if we were happy and to apologize. He offered us a 5% discount should we use them again, but we will not be using them again.

Houseworth was very timely and had gotten everything knocked out very quickly. The only problem I had was finding nails in the driveway every time it rained. I think there may have been a pile of nails left on the roof. Other than that, they were great. They were also very professional. I am not sure off hand what the charge was, but, it was a job well done.

This company was amazing. I must tell you. Now I had a bunch of additional costs too which I was not expecting so I know they charged me as minimally as they could. I appreciated that and I also appreciated the fact I could trust them at my home and on my property. They were easy to work with, they certainly worked hard and I would highly recommend them just as others did who use AL and left great feedback on them.

It was a nightmare working with this company. They fought us on every issue and did a poor job with some of the shingles. The shingles puckered in places and after trying three times, they still were not able to correct the problem. This was arranged through our insurance after some storm damage to the roof and walls. They quarreled with the insurance over money and ended up canceling our warranty on the job. The foreman that started with the job only showed up one hour the first day and about 30 minutes the second day only after we asked to talk with him about the problems we experienced.

The carpenters, stone masons and painters were amazing. They were very efficient. I was amazed at how fast these guys worked. I would recommend them to anyone.

Jack and Antonio provided the initial scope of services and bid and were very good to deal with. Antonio provided the majority of the services and all services were very well done. Additionally, Antonio is very trustworthy as we have frequently just left a key for him to go in and perform the necessary work. One item that is representative of this company is that once a problem arose with the delivery of the initial water heater that was to be installed, Housworth substituted the product with an equal or better product to ensure that certain scheduling obligations were met. In my remodeling project, I have dealt with numerous services providers and consider myself fortunate that I have been able to work with Jack, Carmen, and Antonio of Housworth Services as that is one vendor that I know that I can trust and will do the job the right way at a fair price. I highly recommend Housworth Services.
