Doug came in and faux finished the door so it looks like wood. It's fabulous, and 6 months laters, it still looks great. I even had a little problem where the door was scratched...and when I called Doug, he came out and fixed it. Faux finishing takes a little time because you have to put on layers of paint. Doug was meticulous and we are very pleased with the results.

Everything went Great, the rooms look wonderful. We will be using him again.

Doug did an amazing Doug faux finishing the cabinetry in our home. We recently moved and painted our cabinets to give them an updated look. We were not completely happy when they were done, the cabinets just needed some depth. I contacted several vendors who provide this service, and spent some time talking with Doug about what I was looking for. Doug came out for a visit very quickly, and assessed the scope of the project. He also reviewed some photos of the look I was trying to accomplish. After assessing things, he was able to provide some information around what he could accomplish along with a quote. Doug came back out a few days later after I called him back and asked for a sample of what I was trying to accomplish, which he had offered upon the first visit. He made the trip out and showed me what he could do. I was very impressed! We scheduled work for the following week, and Doug held to his estimated timeline for the finished product, along with adhering to the original budget quoted. Doug did a great work, surpassed my expectations and has transformed the look of our home. This is exactly what I was looking for. He was professional, prompt and provided amazing service. I will definitely be calling Doug for future work and referring his company to friends. You cannot go wrong with Friends of Faux. The value for the service provided is above par, you will be more than pleased!

Wonderful experience! Doug Robinson is creative, amazing with color, a true artist -- yet VERY reasonably priced! He literally saved me thousands of dollars by me not having to replace all the brass chandeliers and other fixtures in our 25 year old home with new items by just faux painting the old ones.
