Duffy Home Inspection Service, Inc
About us
I started in the construction industry about twenty-two years ago as a plasterer, and worked my way through the trades to eventually become a building contractor. This naturally led me to home inspections, which I've been doing in the Metro Atlanta area for the last eleven years. Home inspections are our only business. I am impartial and work only for you. My job is to provide you with a comprehensive, fair, independent, objective evaluation so that you can understand and take care of your valuable investment. Your interests are my interests before, during, and after the inspection. In the state of Georgia anyone who wants can become an inspector without any training, so it's especially important that you find someone with experience and credentials. I'm a Certified ASHI inspector (American Society of Home Inspectors, Member ID # 203616), a Code Certified Inspector (5186679-R5), an International Code Council Member, a Certified Infrared Thermographer (Level 1, 33886), Radon Measurement Provider (ID # 105606RT). You can trust that you'll be in good hands when I'm the one conducting your inspections. The fee for the inspection will depend on the type of inspection, location of the home, age of the home and size of the home. There is a 10% discount for all Angie's list members.

After canceling that contract I eventually found a much better house that I liked a million times more. However, I knew I should go through the inspection process again, so I called Duffy back. He went through the same process again and he was just as meticulous as before. With this house he did find some things that needed to be addressed but every house is going to have some issues. I have been in the house now for a few months and I couldn't be happier. If I hadnt used his service and bought the first house, I dont think I could say that. I can only imagine how much additional money I would have spent trying to fix the problems. As of this post the first home has still not sold, there might be a good reason for that. Thanks again Duffy.
