Advanced Systems Roofing

Extremely well-the guys were punctual they did a very thorough job the new roof looks beautiful ,And it does not leak . There was also some painting that needed to be done in the living Room ceiling which they did a very good job on .

Matt Jones, the owner, is very responsive, knowledgeable about roofs, honest, courteous and fair.  He provided quotes on a timely basis and came in on budget.    Had 3 quotes for this type of roof, and although he was not the lowest, he was not the highest either.    His price was fair.  There are few roofers in this area that install Gerard metal roofs, and Matt and his crew are very knowledgeable and experienced with Gerard roofs.  The work is high quality, and Matt supervised the work closely to make sure it was done to his standards and in compliance with the manufacturer's warranty requirements.  His crew arrived on time, spoke English, were polite, and cleaned the location at the end of each day; they swept the yard and the driveway for nails.   The work took longer than we expected, but the work is very detailed and required a lot of cuts, so we would rather they do it right than rush the job.  We decided to install a new chimney cap, address some minor mortar gaps in our chimney masonry, and seal the masonry to make sure the chimney would not be a leak source. Matt did the work (as a change order) and his bill was substantially less than the chimney companies we called in for estimates.   We require a lien waiver, which Matt gladly agreed to (once payment was made and cleared).  He registered our lifetime, transferrable warranty with Gerard on our behalf too.  Our only concern has been the gutters were not cleaned as thoroughly as we thought at the end of the job, and Matt has offered to send his crew out to do that work.   Kudos!   By the way, Matt also installs asphalt shingle roofs. We are happy with the work and would gladly recommend Matt Jones of Advanced Systems.  By the way, the roof looks great too.

    We moved into a 30 year old ranch house that has a 13 year old Gerard metal roof.  The roof has a 20 year warranty and should last the lifetime of the property.  However, there had been no maintenance to the roof to keep it clean.  There is a lot of humidity here in Kennesaw, Georgia in the summer time and a great deal of mildew and white algae were well established all over the roof.  Shortly after the roof was installed, the previous owner also had Direct TV install a satellite dish on the top of the roof.  they screwed it to the metal panels and ran the wires down the side of the roof, nailing them to the metal panel as they went.  There aren't many of these roofs installed as they are very expensive and the installers work large areas of the country moving their carpenters around to the large jobs.  It is very difficult to find a contractor who has the guts to walk up on these steep slippery roofs to clean them and do small jobs like I needed.  I called the manufacturer and they recommended that I call Matt Jones at Advanced Systems Roofing in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

      Matt came out to my house right away after I called him and went up on the roof and checked everything out.  He found the roof to be in good condition and gave me a price to clean it and replace the panels with the holes.  The price to clean the roof seemed a little high, but this was very time consuming as well as dangerous.  It took over a week to clean it and clearly, I got my money's worth!  The changing out of the panels was handled quickly.  Matt's guys are good and they know what they're doing. 

      The job is done.  Matt and his people are very professional, worked together with the RhinoShield people where their work intersected each other, and best of all: there are still no leaks.  The roof looks like new again.  If I ever need anything done to the roof, I will never look anywhere but to Advanced Systems Roofing and Matt.
