I think they do what we ask them to do. I'm happy with their work. I'm not thrilled just because we don't ask them to do anything. We ask them to service and they do a good job with that.

I purchased an air conditioner run capacitor. I was charged $40. After I installed the capacitor, I checked to see if $40 was a fair price. What I discovered was shocking. Amazon charges $7.65 and another local parts supply vendor charges $21 for the exact same capacitor (same manufacturer and part # as the one I purchased). I returned to Ace & A to ask if they had made a mistake and mischarged me. They said no, that their price is $40. I understand that they cannot compete with the price that Amazon charges, but the fact that they charge almost twice as much as another local vendor is ridiculous. I learned a valuable lesson from this experience. I won't do business with Ace & A again and recommend you don't either.

They shortened and moved some duct work in the basement to allow for better use of basement space. As usual they were wonderful. We have been using this company for over 30 years in 3 different homes. We have had everything from routine check ups to completely replacing heating and airconditioning systems. They have been reliable, prompt, courteous, efficient. They have done very well at solving problems and finding the most cost effective ways to fix things. They have been there for routine as well as emergencies. I can't find anything bad to say.

The air conditioner was making weird noises on top of having a burning smell so we turned it off.  They came the next did and performed an evaluation.  After the estimate, I talked to some friends who informed me that the cost they quoted was very comparable to other air conditioning places.  So they fixed it and all has been great since then.

They charged $79.95 for a service call. There was a minor repair that needed to be done to the compressor. Rather than charging for labor and parts, he included the cost of the minor repair in the service call fee. I really appreciated that. The technician, Mark, was so helpful and great to work with.

Ron was very courteous and explained every step of his checks on each of the furnaces in my home.  Ron was on time and left my home as he found it.  In checking one of the furnaces in the attic, he found that a light bulb was burned out and replaced it for eliminating me having to climb the attic ladder to replace. Ron was very professional and knowledgeable.

I called Ace & A Heating & Air after checking with the BBB, for a service call for my 75 year old mother.  Her air conditioner was no longer cooling her house.  They had a service man at her house within a couple of hours.  Their service man found a broken wire.  I was so relieved that we didn't need to buy a new air conditioner!!!  I highly recommend Ace & A, they were very prompt, curtious, professional, and most importantly, honest!!  Thank you Ace & A!!!

Ace & A of Lawrenceville, came out checked both units, found low voltage wires cut ( by my landscaper ) Rodney came out that morning and fixed the problem, he was fast and efficient and did not try to sell me anything. He told me the units were in great shapeexcept for the low voltage wire thing which Rodney told me it would be a quick repair and it was, he also took time to make sure my filters were clean and that everything was running fine and looking good.very honest and respectful from beginning to end it was a great experience ,they get 5 stars in my book, p.s. party was great !!! Thanks Rodney and Ace & A !!!!!

For approximately 25 years we have used Ace & A Heating & A/C (located in Lawrenceville) for semi-annual inspections. For the past 2 years I have talked to Jody, the technician, about replacing our air conditioning unit. Jody told me that the new compressor would fit in the current compressor space. During Jody's last inspection, I received a quote for replacing our unit. Jody explained the warranties on the new unit.

On July 2 (Saturday) our air conditioner stopped working. I called the office and approximately 2 hours later a technician arrived and started the unit. We scheduled an appointment to replace my unit with a new thermostat for July 5.

On July 5 the technicians arrived at the scheduled time. They started and finished at approximately 3:00 PM. The repairmen cleaned up and removed the old unit to my satisfaction.

On July 8 I called to replace our new thermostat with a 5-2 day model. At 4:00 PM a technician arrived and installed the new thermostat.

On July 18 I asked Ace & A about my new unit warranties. They gave me the model numbers, serial numbers and warranties. They said the installation was registered with RUDD Heating. I asked them if they would send me this information. I received the information within three days.

I would highly recommend Ace & A.

My air conditioning had died, they came out to fix it. It turned out a coil needed to be replaced. I work long hours, and I needed it done quickly. I had to leave a key for them because I couldn't be there. I got a call at work later in the day, that the service contractor locked himself out of my condo, and had to call a locksmith to get into my home. I had to get it serviced again this year, and realized he never replaced the air filter. There were loose screws all over that compartment. I didn't know anyone else, so I felt like I had no choice but to call them again. They told me that they also never even initially filled up the freon, so I have been running for 2 years on low freon. The second serviceman who came out, did refill the freon at no charge to me. Overall, I wasn't pleased with their work, but happy I called them second time because I would have pay for the freon fill and the air filter, if I had called someone else.

I had Ace & A come and put the new system in the day we moved in April of 2007. We had some work done outside and they moved the air conditioners in October of 2009. When they hooked them up in November of 2009, they informed me the old unit was low on freon and asked him to come inside and look at the furnace. Winter was coming and it started sounding funny. We had a home warranty that covered a breakdown of a furnace that was not under a manufacturer warranty and they refused to replace the unit, see AHS report. That day I called Ace & A put a new system for our main floor. I had to take action against the home warranty company. It is working great. They are a trustworthy company. I will have them come back out again to put in a new furnace and a/c unit in our basement when that work is completed and recommend them to others. They are quality people. They give a fair price and do not play games.

Ace & A did an excellent job. Their rep, Keith, explained everything patiently and responsively and was friendly throughout. His crew, including Chris and James, worked extremely hard from 8 am - approximately 6 pm for 2 days completing the work. They completely disassembled the HVAC system and then reassembled it into a much better system.

I was not there, my Husband was, so according to him, the process went well until they tested the unit once it was moved. The unit wouldn't work after the move. The technician told us he would not fix the unit, or give us a discount on the procedure(as he broke the unit)but would install one for us at full price.
