Talked with service man on phone,  and told them boat was running very slow even at full throttle, and we were scared to drive it in, and they said it would cost approximately  100.00 to pick up boat.  He said  he would call  me when  they knew the  problem.  They called and said they could not really find anything wrong with it , it was running fine when they picked it up, but they had replaced spark plugs,  bulb to fuel line, and fuel line.  I said well, we had thought maybe something was wrong with carburetor, had they checked it out.  They called back and said that bits of the fuel line had gotten in carburetor, and they had to repair, and cost was 800.00 something if they brought it back and 60.00 less if I came and got it, which was 700.00 something.   I said we would get it, and then my husband had to go to hospital, so called them back and asked to deliver it.  The bill was 862.29, and 165.00 of that was service call, @1.5 hours @110.00 per hour,  and pick up and delivery@ 1.5 hours @95.00 per hour or 142.50.     The total  pick up and delivery/service call was 307.50.    I called and asked what was the difference between service call, and pick up and delivery, and the guy said no difference, so I paid 869.99 to repair a carburetor and $307.00 of that was  to pick up and deliver my boat .  The place is only a few miles down the lake!   I told the guy that this was NOT the price he had given me and he said it was.  I said no way in this world would I have used this place if he had said $307.50 to pick up and deliver my boat!!!  I paid more to have my boat picked up and delivered than I did for the actual  labor to repair!  I guess they try to hide it by dividing it up and calling 165.00 of it service call, and 142.00 of it pick up and delivery, and hope you don't notice the difference, but he said they were one and the same, and that means 307.50 to  pick up my boat and deliver it back home. 



I had told this to several of my friends who  had their boats repaired in the area, and they were all shocked.  Most paid only appx $80.00 for pick up and delivery, and one said if  his repair guy  did the work it would be no charge.  I paid 307.50 for a boat ride!    I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE....HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!
