KNOX PEST CONTROL

Horrible, the Knox man was new in area and was going around advertising. I was so excited because I was just about to get in touch with Terminix to spray my house because I had a spider issue. As soon as I told the man about the spider issue he told me that they could handle all that and more. So I let him perform the service. He was in and out in a matter of minutes. I knew the backroom had a lot of stuff in it so I was wondering if he needed me to move anything but he said nothing about it. When I looked in room I could tell that he hadn't even set foot in the room. So a couple of days later I saw live insects walking around like nothing. So I called him and he immediately came over and resprayed areas where I saw insects. I continued to see insects but didn't call. He came back because there was a monthly contract to sign....I wondered what was the use in signing a monthly contract if the pest control work but I saw that it was something that all companies do now. So he came back and I told him I see way more insects than before. I had only a small problem before now it was like the insects were eating the bait. I also told him about the spiders again and he dusted the porch. A couple of days later I was seeing live insects everywhere; especially spiders. So I just said I would call Terminix and let them handle it. Well the Knox guy called and I told him that the stuff didn't work and that I was going to go another route. He then mentioned the contract and how they don't necessarily stop spiders but how they can control them. That's when I lost it because I told him spiders were my issue before and not once did he give any doubt that he could get rid of the spiders. I was also talking to man at store and he said that his aunt had same issue with them. I later called Terminix and haven't had an insect issue yet and that was after only one treatment!

We called for a quarterly service contract and when the tech arrived, we were given a contract which outlined our services. This includes unlimited call back for unwanted pests, spraying the inside and outside of the house, etc. I saw the contract for monthly service and again asked for quarterly service. I was told SOME clients get quarterly but the office manager wanted me to have monthly (which is more expensive). At this point, I had a choice to pay a one time very expensive flate fee and find another company or sign the contract for the monthly service for the year. The tech was very kind and respectful. He was on time the first visit and 20 minutes late the second visit. He does a very good job and is accomodating of my pet. They take cash or will keep your credit card on file so you don't have to write a check each time they come out. Overall, Knox is a good company. I did feel like the receptionist was dishonest and left the tech in an uncomfortable spot with the odd contract negotiations.

He is very nice and hard working. He does everything you want him to do and is not expensive.

Every time they've come out they've been wonderful. They've explained a lot about what they were doing and why. They've always gone above and beyond for us.
