Frank Vaughn is very knowledgeable and expert at what he does. The only problem is that he doesn't always get messages left at his office.

I have used Vaughn #1 before and they do very good work; however, there seems to be a problem with follow-up on initial phone call. I don't know if the problem is the office itself or with the workmen. Difficulty in getting response to phone calls or emails. This time, I called at the end of April. Since I was ordering the same toilet as the downstairs one, the rep advised they would order it from same company and call back for appointment to install it. I waited a couple of weeks and phoned/emailed a "gentle reminder" that I hadn't heard back on progress of order. Finally, towards end of May I called to say that if I hadn't gotten response, I would cancel order and go with another plumber (the old toilet was leaking and wasting water and I didn't want to get it fixed if I was going to replace the toilet anyway). Vince did call back and apologized saying that the order had been delayed...which is fine but no one bothered to call me to let me know how things were going. He said it had come in and would be there the following day to install. I waited all day and finally called at 5 p.m. Evidently, another delay in getting it but would be there the next day. He did finally come first thing the next morning and installed the new toilet. They did a great job, took away the old toilet, left everything very clean. This last time, I saw that the hourly rate had increased quite a bit rather than the hourly rate from previous visits.

He is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing and is very confident in himself and his abilities. He comes out, does what he needs to do and gets it done very well in timely manner. You can tell in watching him, he knows his job very well. I will definitely use him again as I have many times in the past. He has always been able to get to me in emergency situations. Great service.

This is my plumber of choice and I would not call anyone else. One thing I like is that they almost always send out the same plumber. Their prices are reasonable and I can always count on a job well done. In the case of this particular job, he completed the work in less than an hour.

I highly recommend Vaughn #1 Plumbing because they offer reasonable prices and did a great job hiding the pipe in my yard without tearing up the lawn. They were courteous and professional while they worked.

Returned my call promptly and went over the types of toilets available and recommended the Toto (which I already had decided to go with). Was able to direct me to supply company that gave me a discount on the two units. Mr. Vaughn arrived as scheduled and was finished in 3 hours. His hourly rate was a little higher than some other estimates I got but he did excellent work and cleaned up after the work. I have a 3rd bathroom to update and I will most likely use him again.

HE HAD THE HEATER UP IN RUNNING WITHIN THREE HOURS AFTER I CALLED HIM. HE WAS VERY FRIENDLY & PROMPT IN RETURNING PHONE CALLS. HE ALSO INSTALLED A NEW SINK FAUCET AND ONLY CHARGED ME FOR THE SERVICE CALL.
