TurfPride has been in the business of helping homowners create beautiful landscapes in the Atlanta metro area since 1996. The owner, Ron White, has over 20 years experience in the agriculture and horticulture industry including educational background in Agronomy from NCSU and a 20 year career with international chemical manufacturers including Ciba-Geigy/Syngenta.

I had been with this company for years, The service has turned awful. Do not use this company at all if you are looking for quality work. My grass is worse than it was before the treatments started. I sent pictures to them and they claimed someone would come to check my yard never came and did not explain why. The Technicians ty. hat would come treat my yard would arrive and be gone in 5 min. But they made sure they left the bill on my front door, Turfpride has turned into a dead-end company and take my experience and find someone else. Your calls will be lies and promises they have no intentions to keep and their treatments have not worked, Go someplace else. Don't waste your money. I paid Turfpride over 650 a year and it is wasted money. Find Another Company!!! They are all lies and their product is awful!!!

First application was pre-emergent with fertilization and lawn never greened up. Company said yards were slow to green because of prior year's weather but all other lawns on my street were green, even untreated ones. Said they'd come re-treat in five days and never came. Said it was because they were busy and behind schedule. I called and canceled future service. Put fertilizer from home depot on lawn and greened right up. Aside from rep being friendly nothing set them apart from other lawn companies in opinion.

As highlighted in your review, the issue of slow green-up for bermuda lawns this spring was a real one for Atlanta lawns as predicted by UGA Turf Extension specialist, Dr. Clint Waltz due to the previous season heat and the lack of rainfall. The result was thin turf and a delay in the green-up of bermuda and zoysia for some lawns...but not all. We had a number of calls this spring on this issue from residential and commercial customers alike. The eight application TurfPride Signature program has been developed over 20 years in the Atlanta lawncare business using the highest grade commercial products available with a proven track record in keeping lawns green. We are disappointed to lose you as customer after only one application. Please let us know if we may be of any help in the future."

TurfPride has treated our lawn for over 5 years now. The technicians are extremely knowledgeable and professional. We never have to worry about our lawn- they take care of everything. I love how we get a call before the appointment reminding us that they will be coming out to treat the yard. They have been a pleasure to work with over the years and we have the prettiest lawn on the street!

Professional job all the way. Brochure left on how to take care of my lawn after treatment. Hand-written note with specifics on what was done for treatment of my turf (time arrived, time left, temperature, chemicals used, etc.). Signage left in front yard, and excellent job. Have used TurfPride since April when I purchased a home that previous owners did not maintain the lawn, it was FULL of weeds, and with TurfPride's expertise, it's looking great (plus, I follow directions very well!).

They always do a great job. They show up as required and do the work. We never have to worry about them coming. They are very reliable. The owner is very hands on and has inspected my lawn and made recommendations on how best to treat it. Very personalized service.
I have recommended them to my neighbors as well.

I had an annual contract with TurfPride. When asked last summer what to do about my lawn, I was told to aerate it... in the Fall. Then just a few weeks later, the last few days of July, they aerated. I did not renew my contract with them for this year. Yet, they did service in February. I paid and cancelled. Yet, they did service again. I complained and mentioned my aeration last July. The employee said they would re-aerate this Spring. Then I got a call from Zach. He said he would credit my account for the last service they performed... again, I said, it was service after I cancelled and it should not have been done and I should not be charged. I asked when they were going re-aerate as I was told was going to be done for FREE.. Zach said NO MORE SERVICE. He was super rude and very unprofessional.

Our service team maintains detailed customer notes on every treatment and every call , I personally reviewed all notes on your account to try to figure out how a 3 year relationship with a very good customer could go from one where you recommended our services to others to this disappointing review. During our 3 years as your lawn care provider, we did everything agronomically possible to help invigorate your bermuda turf. In 2015, we recommended and completed a core aeration in July . This is a common practice for bermuda lawns to reduce compaction and help nutrients and water to reach the roots. The optimal timing for aerations on bermuda turf in the Atlanta area ranges from May to early August. Any later than August the benefit of compaction is still there, but encouraging new growth is minimized. Growing healthy, green grass is a process that can’t be confined to a single treatment or calendar year. For that reason, we do not require customers to sign contracts. Based on your request, we have now cancelled your account and there will be no charge for the second treatment. Again, our apologies for miscommunication and we are sorry to lose you as a customer. Ron White"
