Piedmont Construction and Design

Poor - I gave the contractor the benefit of the doubt and let over 2 months go by with excuses and 3 concrete pours before the patio was close to being completed. I paid the final deposit for the patio before it was done in order for the contractor to finish the work but the patio is still not completed and we are close to 3 months since signing the contract. I also paid $1500 deposit to have a wall unit constructed in which the contract said he would complete most of the work in his workshop and then bring it to my home for final installation. In addition he took my brand new electric fireplace as well to dry fit it into the wall. After almost 3 months no proof of work has been provided and he still has my fireplace and gives me a one excuse after another about when it will be returned. I have been left with an uncompleted patio, no wall unit and my fireplace is still in his possession. He was vetted through Angie's list and I was still taken complete advantage of. Please help!
