Do not use this company. We expected A+ work from this A+ BBB company, how they have that rating baffles me. Communication was horrible, work was subbed out to a company who literally tried to scam us (keep reading), and the craftsmanship and attention to detail were laughable. Again, do not use this company. Issues we had/they caused: - 2 day project turned into 5+ with 3 additional visits and still not satisfied - we paid $600 to have furniture moved, installer did not know they were moving furniture, threw it in our carport - shoe molding wrong color - click LVT not fully clicked, aka not actually waterproof - fridge water line left dripping, glad we got a new fridge or would have never known - did not remove existing flooring in kitchen, just installed right over it - this caused a need for "custom" transitions - verbally promised "custom" transitions were cut too short, were not custom, cracked within days - transitions replaced, and the craftsmanship was worse... each time - last text from saleswoman stated "we completed all work listed on the contract, we will not be back" I guess we should not have taken her word - stain and/or hardwood floor sealer smell lingered for 2 weeks ( were told and up charged for water-base and it's supposed to be odorless???) - ridges between many of the hardwood planks, seemingly where stain oozed up? - we were finally told we were safe to come home with our cats... wet cement in kitchen - extremely special self-leveling cement... was from HomeDepot - LVT installer was not the team lead, even though he identified himself as such? - the biggest issue was the fact that we were told some subfloor was replaced, but it was not - "subfloor" was 2.25" hardwood plank spaced... every 2" - we caught the issue by crawling into our subfloor after noticing a bounce - they fixed the subfloor, but did not clean up wood dust before staining and sealing right over it... All of this from two people who consider camping a vacation. Please save yourself the headache.

Phone 770-428-1725 [*** Link removed ***] We hired Northside Floors to remove the carpet in two of our rooms and replace them with new factory laminated hardwood floors. These new floors were suppose to match the existing hardwood in other rooms in our home. We expected this professional company to provide a professional installation but we were greatly disappointed with the workmanship of their hardwood installation. The flooring was uneven with high and low spots. After reviewing their installation, Northside Flooring admitted their mistake and offered to provide a solution only if we paid them an additional $2,000. Yes, they insisted that we pay them for their mistake. As I look at these floors I don’t understand why a professional company like Northside Floors can do such a poor job and expect the homeowner to pay for the same job twice. Not what you would expect from a company that has been in business for 34 years and listed in The 2022 Verified Home Services and The Best Pick Reports for Roswell, Alpharetta and Johns Creek Ga. (These reports list the Northside Floors lifetime installation and workmanship warranties.) I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews especially since we all make mistakes. However, when you refuse to correct your mistakes unless you are paid, this could be a reflection of how much respect you have for your customers. I write disappointed. Jerome Alpharetta Ga 30004

They were very responsive upon the first call for a quote. They held my hand the whole way through understanding the process from day 1 to day 3 with pre and post work requirements. They came out and provided samples and options based on our needs with two kids and two big dogs. With that we were able to decided on color and type. They were in and out and left the house cleaner than before they came. I would use them over and over!

They did a good job and were very responsive to any concerns and issues.

We solicited competitive bids and also had recommendations for Northside Wood Flooring. The owner came out with the salesperson and went into detail as the job was fairly large and involved tearing out some flooring, sanding down some existing flooring and installing new flooring over a 1300 square feet in a family room, kitchen, library, closet, and extended hallways. They prepared a sample board for our review and later used it as a pattern for the installers to ensure our satisfaction. The installer supervisor, Raul, was extremely professional and informative and very thorough and careful to ensure we were satisfied. We had an issue with one area that was touched up, and they immediately came out and reworked to our satisfaction. There were several follow-ups by the sales person, Cindy, and we have been extremely satisfied with the results and have had numerous compliments as to the floors. I would not hesitate to recommend Northside to anyone.
We later had Northside install carpet tiles in our office and linoleum tiles in the workout room with the same level of high satisfaction on both accounts.

Cindy did a a great job of scheduling and coordinating the work. The quality of the finished floor ranges from average to excellent. It's not perfect, but we can live with the few imperfections. And I think it's much nicer than a pre-finished floor - it has character! There was a problem with the installation in our bedroom (expansion gap), but Cindy made it right for us. That was the only significant issue we had.
Having a site-finished wood floor installed is not easy, but Cindy was a good partner for us. If you can live with a week of inconvenience, you'll get a much better floor for LESS money than pre-finished. It was well worth the trouble, in my opinion.
Cindy also referred us to a very good stair installer. I'll review his work separately.

Representative came out on time and gave me all the details I needed to make a decision. Good selection of materials to choose from. Quickly set up an appointment for the actual installation which went very smoothly. The finished floor looks beautiful and I will use this company when I put hardwood flooring downstairs.

The actual hardwoods were OK. They damaged a silk canopy that was attached to the ceiling, causing $2500 damage to 30 yards of silk. They cut the doors off at odd angles and causing another $1000 in damage. Finally met with them at my attorney's office and they only took $1000 off, leaving $2500 in damage still. The attorney fees were $680. Comptroller of the company was uncooperative and abusive. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. The floors now are starting to fade after 4 months. They were Cherry in color, now they are more of an Oak color. These are solid hardwood floors so they should be the same color and not dyed. Final damage $4180. Floor cost was $4500. I paid them $3500. Final damage was $3180. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
