They came in, did what they were supposed to do, cleaned up and left. Lowes was convenient, friendly, quick and good value.

Went to the W Marietta Lowe's for custom blinds on Saturday. Saw the advertisement for complete installation for $99 for 9 blinds and added that to our order. This then required that a contracted installer come out and measure. Paid the $35 for the installer to come out and measure, which he did the next Tuesday. He faxed the measurements to the store the same day and we went in to the W Marietta store to complete the order and take the blinds home for the installer to put up this week. This is where the fun started. After waiting 20 minutes for the associate that was covering that department to show up after the page to find him, he found the measurements and began to cut the blinds to size. It took 65 minutes to cut 5 blinds and then he did not know how to complete the order. Spent another 20 minutes looking for the store manager in hopes that she would know how to access the record and complete the order. Left for dinner. Spent an hour at dinner with the understanding they would and quot;figure it outand quot; while we were gone. When we returned, nothing had taken place. It took 10 more minutes to find the associate that cut the blinds as he had the folder with measurements and all the records. Then the store manager involved herself and after another 30 minutes we have the manager, the customer service clerk, the associate that cut the blinds, the girl working flooring, a stockman, a second customer service rep and a cashier all hunched over the computer in the managers office trying to figure out how to complete this order. (there is a joke in here somewhere and quot;how many Lowes associates does it take to.......(you fill in the blank)and quot;) Probably in the future will go to the Home Depot store down the road.

They are the best. We haven't had any problem with them.

It was a great deal. There were no problems and they easily accepted it.

They subcontracted the work out to a company called The House Doctor. They were a pleasure to work with. They were prompt and gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were coming. They also cleaned up really well. They called to follow up to see if I was happy with the work.

Lowe's treated me just beautifully. I found the salesmen to be very helpful and knowledgeable. We did not have to wait a long time. They know about the products they are selling and they carry the line that I prefer to have in my own home. I would have to give Lowe's only the best marks.

Not sure what changed with the name but the paint quality is seriously degraded. Working from a new can only 1 hour off the store shaker so well mixed. Should have been a one-coat application over primed wood, needed two coats. Paint did not like the new polyester, (recommended bristle) brush. Tended to drip off bristles while cutting in trim, did not flow well onto the surface, took many brush strokes to smooth the finish, easy to run down vertical surfaces. After about 90 minutes, the paint began to clump on the brush edges and get more difficult to work. Not a cheap paint price wise but a cheap paint quality wise.
