Shady business practices. Despicable sales tactics. Management was supposed to step in to help and nothing. Thank god I never experienced a burglary as now I can only imagine their systems and response teams effectiveness given their unwillingness to work through a simple issue they refuse to face. Tried to support a local business and got burned.

The last installation was chaotic for us and the installers installed the alarm system to the light switch that runs the light system to our attic and never told us about it. When I called to get this remedied, I gave up with the lack of actionable response from whomever I talked to. If we had known this was an issue, prior to installation, we would have tried to do a different solution. Based upon the frustration of dealing with the attic light issue, we did not realize that the third door sensor was not installed as well. At this point, I just gave up dealing with the issue. Three weeks ago, we had a sensor issue and I called in to schedule an appt and I also mentioned that the third sensor was never installed, the person whom I was speaking to indicated that I was wrong and there were only 2 door sensors in my PO and I would have to pay for a third sensor and to get it installed. At this point, after speaking to her, I pulled up the PO from the salesperson and there was, in fact, a third sensor on there on the PO and left a message thereafter, with no response. I sent an email stating my issues recently since I changed services and they would only give me $45 credit towards buying out my contract after all of this.

The tech was awesome! The customer service is too notch! The owner is awesome and we have never had any problems with anything that wasent fixed within the hour! All the employees are too notch and very knowledgeable! I can't say enough Greta things about them! If it's a weekend the owner John will do what he can to help you!

Everything was installed and I was showed how the system works with my I-phone and I-pad. They really saved me when just a week after install my water heater broke and started to leak and the sensor they install caught the leak and notified me so I had very little damage less than $150.00. So in my mind this paid for itself in less than a month. It is nice to know when I leave my house that it's safe in my pets are safe.

Their customer service is really good.  We pay $39.00 per month to have our service monitored.  We had one false alarm and they were to quick respond.  We were out of town and they contacted us on our home, and cell phones.

When I lost my job and was trying to cut back on expenses I cancelled my phone service and the security system would not work through the internet service.  I explained my situation and asked if I could just pay for the cost of the security panels which is all they replaced and are the cheapest on the market since the system was not compatible with VOIP service and could not be used.  They proceeded to try and sell me more services using cell phone equipment at an even higher cost.  I explained that I need to reduce my cost after a job loss and not increase my expenses.  They would not negotiate and stated that I have to pay the remainder of the contract and proceeded to send me to collections.

I am more than happy to write this review.  I was struggling with the decision on a security system:  who to go with, should I even do it?  I had a few companies come out and give me quotes and I even had a couple of on line companies quote me.
I had called Loud to talk to them and get a quote.  I called them because they are the security system for the business I work for.  The person I talked too was very friendly and helpful.  The earliest time I could get someone to come out was the following week.  Well....I really wanted to make my decision by the end of the week.  I was asked if I could be put on hold.  Next thing.....the Director of Sales was on the phone with me.  I explained my situation, why I wanted a system, my financial status, etc....  He quoted me OVER THE PHONE !!!!  We talked about everything.....for over an hour.  He was so helpful.....I was impressed beyond impressed.  They were so willing to work with me, financially.
I agreed to go with them.  Had everything all worked out.  But, overnight, I had 2nd thoughts......due to my finances ONLY.  I called the field guy, who wrote up the quote, and told him I just couldn't do this right now, but would in a couple of months.  Guess what?  I received a call for the Director of Sales......again.... LOL   He agreed to extend some options and even agreed to install early.
I had a slight issue with my key fob.....BOOM.....had a guy out there and fixed that day.
I'm here to tell you......these folks are so kind and completely understand any situation.  They are willing to work with you and do anything they can to help you.  I am  thoroughly impressed and so very happy with Loud.  I would recommend them to anyone......TO THE WORLD!

I've always liked my security company to be local and this was further out of the area. They wanted me to sign a contract and I was not sure if I wanted to.  I did not have a contract with the local company. They wanted to come out and change my system over to their system. He came out and said that my panels were too old. He said that they would have to switch them out, and that would have required a lot of work and painting to the walls. Then they said another company was going to come out and look at my system. I had two cameras out. They said they could only fix one and charged $85. When they left both cameras were still not working. I called them. Another 6 weeks went by. I said I do not want to use your service (this was on Feb 17). I already had paid for 3 months and that $85. By this point I had found another company that could use the system. They told me they could repair my camera. Then Loud sent me a bill for three more months. I called them and said I had cancelled earlier. They said I cannot cancel because I am under contract. I told them I am not under contract. The owner started yelling at me, talking about her personal life, and saying that I needed to pay for my service. Everytime I have called her she starts screaming at me.

Read their contract carefully and you'll realize that you are agreeing to them coming into your home, making negligent mistakes, charging you too much, locking you in for years, and holding you hostage to the contract when they make mistakes and you want to get out of it.

Have had service with Loud since installation one year ago and have been perfectly happy with them. The technicians who came out to do the install were great. They installed everything, cleaned up their dust from drilling into the walls... all the stuff you'd expect. They also walked me through the various ways we can set the alarm, with our big ol' dogs in the house and not in the house. They've been back since to switch us from cellular back-up to land line service, and are always on time and very friendly. We've set the alarm off a few times accidentally... and they always call right away. The one time the alarm was set improperly and one of our dogs set it off about 15 minutes after we left the house, the Dekalb County Police Department had three cruisers at our place within 10 minutes. I'm perfectly happy with their service.

John Loud the owner would never give me a firm price or quote for the job. I went ahead and used them because they were recommended by a friend. The installers splintered the casing of my mahogany front door with their drill. Which I had to have removed and repaired and they voided the warranty on one of my $800 vinyl windows. It was a custom built window by drilling a hole in the base of it for a security sensor which later leaked. Charged me around $800 just to run the surveillance camera wiring. I didn't pay it because of the outrageous price and the damage they had done. John Loud called and said he was putting a lean on the house if I didn't pay. I told him about the price and damage and he did not care. I paid just be done with it or else I would have had to take him to court. Do not make the same mistake as me and do not let this company do ANY work for you.

LOUD SECURITY SENT OUT TWO OF THE WORKERS, THEY TRASHED MY DOOR, AND DUG BIG HOLES TO PUT WIRES IN. ONE OF THE WORKERS STEPPED IN SOME OIL OUTSIDE, AND TRACKED IT ON MY BEIGE CARPET, THAT I HAD TO GET REPLACED. THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB INSTALLING ALL THE EQUIPMENT. IT LOOKS REALLY TACKY.
