Today’s service from Hawx was a general service appointment but I also requested an application to help combat carpenter bees. Ruel was on time, efficient, very thorough in the application and explanation of the work, as always. I highly recommend Hawx and Ruel.

This company consistently took my money without delivering the promised service. Signing up for a contract with credit card details required added complications when trying to cancel after the contract ended. Despite attempts to contact them through calls, texts, and emails, the process was challenging. Cancelling my credit card didn't prevent them from charging my new card. Despite explaining the situation, they refused to refund three months of no service, revealing a lack of integrity. In conclusion, the service is not worth the hassle, and their overall performance was unsatisfactory.

I would of put a negative score but it won't go any lower than 1. This was the worst service I have ever received. Morgan was extremely nice and offered to cut the cost of a monthly service. Likewise they threw in multiple services for free. Sounds great right? It was horrible. I had to have them come out multiple times over the course of 3 months and the problems never were fixed. No, it wasn't roaches or anything due to being nasty or infested, it was scorpions, yellow jackets , millipedes, and spiders. I asked the sales rep Morgan if there would be a cancelation fee if I was unhappy with the service, and I was assured that there would be no fees or anything, but he doesn't know of any reason why I would be unhappy. Well, I was unhappy the first tech who came forgot to do the services. To cancel I was informed I was lied to, and its 200 to cancel after I was laughed at by the first rep. He was very disrespectful, and told me that I only had two options. Either keep the service at a discount of 50 a month and one month free, or cancel and have a 200 charge. I asked to speak to someone who could help me and his response was, " It could take 72 hours or longer if I receive a call back at all from one of the managers. After persisting he finally put me on the line with a manager( She claimed to be one anyways), she said the same thing and that if I can't prove he lied about the fee then I would have to pay it or they could sue or put it against my credit. Bot were incredibly unprofessional. It was one of the worse business experiences I've had to go through with a company. 100% would not recommend, and If asked I would steer anyone who asked me to someone else.

This operation is a bad business. I agreed to try their service based on a door-to-door salesperson, and after three months it has had absolutely no effect. The claimed benefits of eliminating spiders and roaches have not occurred. And BEWARE, they will charge you a $400 cancellation fee if you try to get out of their service. This was not disclosed by the door-to-door salesperson. I am taking Hawx to small claims court over this matter. This is what you get for being polite and giving a door-to-door salesperson a chance. Very deceptive. For those of you considering Hawx, take a close look at the reviews out there. Different people using precisely the same words. These are fake reviews. I've retained a lawyer and will be taking Hawx to Gwinnett County magistrate court...compensatory and punitive damages, and I'm advised this is an open and closed case. Hopefully others here who have been deceived by Hawx will do the same.

We hired Hawx in 2016 to provide quarterly pest control treatment.  We live on a wooded lot, and they did a nice job of eliminating spiders and ants from our home and deck.  They dewebbed our front porch, did a mosquito treatment in our yard, and promised to come out in between quarterly treatments if we noticed a problem.

Then we found bedbugs in our son's room.  They said that they could take care of this problem and sent a technician who specialized in the removal of bedbugs using chemicals.  His three-prong treatment approach seemed to match what I had read online, and he returned any time we saw another bug and then every two weeks for a month to do an inspection.  We thought the problem was solved until we found bedbugs in our master bedroom about five months later.

John, the manager of the Indianapolis branch, came out, as he is now the bedbug specialist.  He then said that we needed to treat every bedroom upstairs (four), and that each bedroom would be $300, despite being told over the phone that the service would be $200 total.   He then provided us with an extensive checklist that included bagging up all items in closets, dressers, etc and cleaning/laundering them, moving furniture, etc.  When we said that we had not been told this before, he admitted that our previous technician had probably done the work improperly and not eradicated our bedbugs the first time.  However, he refused to stand by the company's 100% guarantee because it had been longer than three months (even though he basically told it was their fault that we had another infestation). 

My husband expressed his frustration about the lack of communication and the fact that John refused to do anything about the apparent lack of appropriate treatment the first time and said that we would think about whether or not we wanted to continue our contract with this company.  John said okay and walked away.  He did not care one bit about pleasing the customer or trying to work with us.  Seeing that he is the branch manager, we cannot escalate the problem any further, and therefore, will not be continuing our contract with Hawx.
