Gone To The Dogs

What can I say - it was a wonderful experience. I didn't worry about my cats, my house, my plants. I had a real vacation. I will use her again and again. She also took pictures of my babies.

Bogart is so excited when we pull up at Gone to the Dogs that he just can't wait to get out of the car. For his overnight experience I asked Eileen, the owner, where he would be sleeping. At home he sleeps in the laundry room. She explained that she would be observing him during the day to see which dogs he played with and rested with, and those and quot;buddy dogsand quot; get to sleep together at night. I thought that was such a wonderful and logical way to make sure he had a good night's rest in a comfortable environment. If it rains they have indoor space too, where dogs can sit on couches and watch Animal Planet on TV. Bogart did great for his overnight visit and I didn't worry about him for one moment.

Eileen (owner/pet sitter) was AMAZING! We spoke on the phone and she was here for an initial meet and greet in 2 days. She had a full packet of information on her business and even brought business license/ insurance papers to show us. She is super nice, and we felt that she would genuinely care for our animals. She encouraged us to list any and every thing we could about our cats so she could make them as comfortable as possible while we were gone. She sent text updates and pics throughout the week and even left us a printed, framed pic of the boys for when we got home. Our plants were watered (she even added some stakes to our tomato plants), mail was neatly placed in the kitchen, food bowls full, litter box clean and the cats didnt act as if we had been gone at all! She even had us text her when we got home so she knew we made it home safe... Aside from the above excellent service we received, her prices were literally half what almost every other pet sitter listed here or via google was charging. We have just moved here from NC and were nervous about the process and leaving our home and pets in a strangers care. I can honestly say, we couldnt have picked a better person and we will be using her from now on!
