1st of all from the time they answered the phone I knew I had the right company. Alex and his helper arrived on time and ready to work. He walked me through the process and confirmed what was to be done. They were polite and hard workers. I had dogs that I had to put in day care overnight and they said they would try there best to get it all done in one day so I could bring my dogs home. They did it and it looks GREAT! I would definitely hire this company again and request Alex.

I have 2 dogs and was in need. I called fox fence the appt. was set quick, the salesman followed up quickly and gave me a ball park. I received the quote soon it was vey closed to the ball park quote. The office staff was vey friendly. They are getting very busy but they found a way to put me on the schedule sooner than later. The service guy installed the fence and gate by him self in one day. I was not here my wife informed me he was vey friendly and professional. I am pleased with the craftsmanship. It looks great.

On time and great service

I began checking Angie's List in early July for a fencing company that could begin the install right after we closed on the house. I emailed and/or left messages with several fence companies, Steve was the 1st to respond. We corresponded via phone and email since I was out of State. (Before he could measure to give us a quote, we had to have a property survey done with boundaries clearly marked). His office provided a list of surveyors that I could contact. Once that was done, we set a time and date for Steve to come and measure and provide a quote. He arrived at the scheduled time, measured, instructed us on what overgrown shrubbery needed to be cleared from the fence line. He advised us on what fencing material would be best for our needs (keeping 4 dogs - 3 of them Boxers) behind the fence. These dogs have boundless energy. HOA rules state fence facing street must be wood, so we went with that but had chain link installed in back. Steve recommended the type of wood, black chain link, where to install the back gate. We needed the fence installed as soon as possible, he understood. He emailed me the quote that night and we agreed. I paid about 1/3 of the total price up front, the remainder to be paid to crew after install complete. Being new to the area, we were unaware that heavy storms or tornadoes had come through the area a few weeks earlier and had downed a lot of trees.
I mention this because I ran into a lot of trouble trying to get yard men, landscapers, land clearers, ANYBODY, to return calls or emails about clearing away all the shrubbery. Some did return calls, but didn't work in our area. Some others could do the work, but were so backed up, they couldn't get to us for 3-4 weeks. Steve was eager to get our fence installed and stayed in touch with me for updates on the land-clearing. I called landscapers recommended by those who didn't service our area. Finally, Steve suggested someone who he thought could handle this job quickly. I contacted that landscaper, he provided the quote and could do the work right away. It took several days to clear the fence line. Steve and I set a date to install the fence. His crew arrived promptly that morning, walked the area with us to make sure we were all on the same page. We chose which way we wanted the 3 gates to swing. Crew chief explained what they would be doing step by step. They worked hard, it was a hot day. They stayed at it and completed the install in the same day.
Steve called me at the end of the day to find out if everything was satisfactory, and it was.

We were very satisfied with Fox Fence from beginning to end, really a nice group of folks. I would hire them again.

I received three quotes and Fox Fence was not the cheapest but the price was fair. I decided to go with them because of other references I had and I like the fact they weren't a fly by night company and had bonded insurance coverage - so a legitimate business with 25 years in the area - not a fly by night fence installer who wouldn't be around when or if I needed repairs etc.
The crew showed up on time and completed the job and then the owner came by to double check on the work. In the middle of the project, I realized I needed to make changes due to the placement of the pool equipment from our original design. The team on site made the changes required and did not charge me for the minor changes. A year later, they came out to adjust a couple of gates for me and again no charge.
I would absolutely recommend Fox Fence to anyone looking to build a quality fence for the long haul from a reputable company that stands behind its work.

Working with Fox fence was very easy. They were quick to respond to our calls, listened to what we needed and met our needs in a timely fashion.

I knew they didn't do a good job right after they did it.  I tried to get them to come back to deal with the post tosp that were warping.  I took a pitcure with my iphone and sent them an email to contact me.  I made numerous phone calls and never heard back.  For 5 weeks, they never returned a phone call.  Finally, I was able to reach them and spoke with the owner.  They agreed to send someone out but it was the man who had built the fence.  I told them that sending the original guy out was not going to help.  He told me that was the person who inspects the fence.  I disputed the charge with discover and they sent someone out to redo the top of the posts that had warped.  Then I dropped the dispute with discover.  We finally agreed to change the tops of the fence, but I did have to pay.  I am incredibly fed up now.  The wood is bad and there are actually parts that they had to patch together.

Fox fencing put up about 250 foot of scalloped, shadowboxed fencing around part of our yard, for the dog.  They also put in 2 four foot gates. In addition, Fox put up an arbour and 16' foot of fencing on the left front of our house, not functional as much as it is a decorative feature.  They took away the old fence as well.  It took about 3.5 days to do the work.  The workers (Alex) were on time, communicative and professional.  The fence is excellent workmanship.  My dad and I put in the original fence 20 years ago, so I know (may not be able to it build though) a quality fence when I see one. We got three bids.  All the bids were within 200-300 dollars.  I chose Fox partly from the reviews and partly because of the knowledgeable and informative sales person.
Just for pricing information, we used 6 by 6 foot posts for a 30 foot stretch in the front.  We also had "french gothic" post tops installed. The arbor is arched with 1" x 2" pickets.

They did a really good job on the fence and did it quickly and cleanly.  My only complaint is that there was some minor mis-communication between me and the salesman or the installers or something, because I thought they could build the fence within inches of the existing chain-link, but they could only get within 12 to 18 inches of it all the way around.  They did an outstanding job working around the vegetation (trees and shrubs) in my back yard.  They left no debris or trash and I'm really happy with the fence.  They honor their "one-year guarantee."  When there was a problem a few days later and my dog escaped from around the side of my deck, they came over immediately to put in a couple extra boards to fill the gap.  About six months later the four-foot gate started sagging, and they came over and fixed that, too.

The experience was great overall! I live in a townhome, so the amount of fence needed was small. The other companies that I called wouldn’t have been able to do such a small job.

The estimate process was quick and easy and, even when I changed the parameters, their response was immediate. The foreman, Sayid, was incredible - walking the yard with me to make sure that the fencing was exactly where it should be. The men took great care to keep any tree trimming, disturbance to a minimum. They even completed the job in one day (8am to 6pm!) when they saw that the upcoming forecast included a lot of rain. They were AMAZING and the fence looks fantastic!
