DISH CONNECTION LLC

This was a bizarre little interaction. I had contacted them to find out if they had access to DirecTV's HDTV DVR box as I had been put on a two month wait list by DirecTV. They did not, but had me convinced I should switch to DISH, and we were fine with this. They were even going to check out another property of ours to see if the DISH box would work there - which really seemed like they were promising a lot but we were definitely going to switch and another family member also decided to switch and use them. I emailed them all documentation they requested and then never heard from them again. They completely dropped the ball and were very unprofessional in their handling of things. Even if they had called to say they couldn't get out to our other property, I would have understood.

Roofers disconnected my satellite dish during installation of a new roof. They reconnected it, but it did not get a signal. I called on (I think) a Wed. night; this was the only co. that answered after hours. The lady who answered said they could send someone Friday (John Eyles). He arrived later than promised, but had a hard time finding my house from directions the office gave him; the lady at the company kept calling me to advise where he was. Horrible traffic that a.m. on the freeway, and Company is about 40-50 miles from my house (guess). John reset my Dish and re-aimed it so that it gets an even better signal than before. He also readjusted the wiring so that it did not hang down from the gutter. I had noticed that some gutter screens were not put back in place very well by the roofers, and asked John if he would adjust the worst ones for $5. He not only adjusted the ones I pointed out, but he checked and fixed all of them as best he could.
