Direct Lenders LLC

Initially we were offered a 3.25% interest rate on a 30 year loan. We got all paperwork in on time in June within 48 hours of asking for all required information. I kept waiting forever for a phone call and finally emailed them. They responded back and said they could no longer offer the deal. Now it was at 3.75%. I asked what the holdup was and they replied that it got stuck on the boss’ desk and didn’t get to on time. I contacted other mortgages companies and no one could match that price. Direct was the lowest and felt I kind of stuck with them because they offered the lowest rate. The paperwork kept getting messed up and kept getting flimsy excuses. The paperwork finally got done in August.  All in all, not real impressed. The sales man Erik Lowe was the one that pretty much seemed to not get things right. When I contacted the owner, she was much more helpful and quick to get things done. It was just a long drawn out process. No apology or compensation. I felt they should have offered the original rate.
