"As no honest construction/remodeling company on the face of the earth can claim that they "never have issues" or "miscommunication problems" so too AGFL doesn't want to whitewash mistakes we might make concerning any projects we undertake. We truly strive to do the best job we can and to fully resolve any of our client's issues. However, AGFL has made several attempts to contact, discuss and take care of Sarah's issues and clear up the miscommunication with regards to her project. The client has not returned many of our phone calls. On one occasion, she rudely hung up on us immediately after identifying ourselves. AGFL, as a small family business, we pride ourselves on 100% satisfaction and resolution of issues. Sarah is our very first customer that we've dealt with that seems to not really want any of her issues resolved but only seeks to remain in a state of perpetual grievance. As Sarah first stated in her review, her countertops did come out "pretty good" and it was a beautiful quartz install with minor issues relating not so much to the installation itself but to the wood cabinets being unlevel/misaligned. Her seam issue was due to unaddressed issues of unlevel cabinets. Sarah only contracted us out to replace her countertops not to modify or fix her existing cabinetry which was discussed with her. My installers spent a good amount of effort to minimize the unlevel seam issue with only a very slight uneven surface that was more noticeable to the touch rather than a blaring eyesore. So all homeowners please note- Unresolvable seam issues can result from unlevel or unsquared cabinets if you don't properly take care of it before your solid surface is installed. Granite, quartz, marble or any stone surface is not moldable or flexible like rubber. It is stone. It is of the utmost importantance for cabinets to be level. Usually a separate carpenter/handyman or contractor works to resolve these issues. Also we were not even made aware of Sarah's extreme discontent until finding out by this 2 star review that she left without reaching out to us. We never intentionally ignored Sarah's grievances but we can not properly address them either if we are not told about them or are rudely hung up on before we can properly even greet her. Also, AGFL as a courtesy to homeowners who don't have their own plumbers, we partner to provide one but as we state in our contract, the plumbers we provide or recommend are not a direct employee of AGFL but have their own separate company, their own business practices/labor warranties and guarantees/contractual agreements. We routinely screen and replace any bad plumber partnerships that do not reflect our standards and regret that Sarah had one of these who no longer works with AGFL. Unfortunately, Her grievance on her plumbing experience needs to be at his company directly. We wish we could have had clear and calm communications with Sarah and her issues but unfortunately we feel we've reached out enough times to try to remedy all of them but she refused to reasonably give us the opportunity. Thanks for hearing our side to the story. God bless."
