Mark the Owner comes across as a very nice individual, Salesman Jim was nice to work with and Dennis did an awesome job of installing the door. If the blind inside the glass on the door hadn’t broken I never would have known the door I paid for which clearly states on my sales agreement was a Jeld Wen wasn’t a Jeld Wen that was installed. I emailed Mark in November last year and let him know the blind had broken and was the door under warranty since it was purchased in 2017. He answered the next day stating he’d order a replacement window for the door since it was still under warranty. After that initial email, I sent two others to Mark and they went unanswered. Finally figured out I wasn’t ever going to get a reply so in April I contacted Jeld Wen directly only to be told it wasn’t one of their doors. ATL Area Window & Door Company seems to be a nice company to work with, just make sure what you’re paying for is actually what is installed.

Made an appointment for an estimate and Jim showed up on time, demonstrated the sample window, and answered all my questions.  Felt very comfortable, no pressure.  Of the three estimates I got they were in the middle price wise and didn't charge some of the fees the other two wanted to charge.  Also, they didn't advertise their product at a low price and then tell you about a bunch of add-on you need in order to bring it up to code.
The total estimate for my home was $3500, which is steep for someone just getting over the economic down turn.  So I called Jim and asked if I could do them 3 at a time.  He said no problem and I placed my order for the windows.  A day or two later one of the installers called and we set up a time for him to come measure.  He showed up on time, measured, and my order was sent.  It took a months for the windows to come and the other installer, they have 2 with over 40 years of combined experience, called to set up a time to install my windows.
The second installer showed up, a little late because of traffic and he called to let me know, and installed the windows.  It took about 5 or 6 hours and he left making sure to clean up after himself.  I love the look of my new windows and can't wait to get the rest done.  They are a no pressure, professional company that I highly recommend.

The window sales process was great. No pressure and honest and straight forward suggestions. Dennis and his team will be installing in a few weeks and we will update when completed.

Windows were installed perfectly. They went above and beyond what was agreed to ensure the job was done to perfection. I would recommend them again and again. They were the only company I spoke with that ensured that all rotted wood would be replaced and capped for the included price..no questions asked.
The finished product turned out great.

I have used ATL Window & Door in the past to install my 3 sets of French doors so I felt comfortable with their pricing and installation proposal for the windows--and they were the lower of the two bids that I had collected.  Their installers are really great (same ones that did the installation of the doors) and took great care to clean up and were very careful with the landscaping around the windows.  The windows that came in had the wrong grille pattern--they were supposed to be 3 by 3 per sash but what was sent was 2 by 3 per sash which is not what I ordered and is not allowed in the town home community where I live.   Since I noticed this problem after a few of the windows were installed and the other old windows knocked out, the installation had to proceed with the incorrect windows.  The original proposal from Atl Window & Door to correct the problem was to replace the glass in each of the window sashes but I was not keen on this idea as I wanted new windows (complete new sashes)  from the manufacturer.  Atl Window & Door obtained the correct sashes and installed them at no additional cost.  They had to go out of their way and drive to Charlotte, NC to pick up the correct sashes as the manufacturer had closed their Atlanta office.  While I don't think that this was their preferred and most cost effective resolution from their perspective, they did the right thing by me, the customer,  and I have the seven new windows that I ordered.  The problem was resolved within three weeks of the original installation.

My husband and I contracted with Atlanta Area Windows and Doors to replace the master bathroom windows in our home. Our home is approximately 25 years old. The master bathroom was drafty and cool. Atlanta Area Windows and Doors sent a representative to measure and provide an estimate for the job. He was courteous, timely and attentive during his visit. The estimate arrived and began. The windows look fabulous and my bathroom is no longer drafty! Thanks Atlanta Area Windows and Doors for a job well done!

New windows were available within two weeks of initial window measurement. Installation was scheduled for two days with two workers.  One removed and installed the windows while the other operated a brake to make the vinyl clad aluminum trim.  The trim was installed and all applicable areas caulked.  House is quieter from outside noise and their are no drafts that were evident from the wood windows.  There should be savings from heating in the winter and cooling in the summer.
This is the same company that I used in 2004 to replace 18 windows on the front of the house.  The new windows were for the sides and back of the house.  I dealt with the same salesperson both times, 8 years apart.

We had been looking at window replacement for a couple of years before having it done.  Got several estimates and while not the cheapest, AAWD  offered a fair price with a quality product.  The salesperson, Jim  spent ample time with us and was available for other callbacks, was courteous and worked within our schedule.  Our decision to have the work done was pushed along  by a vehicle accident.  A vehicle drove through our dining room windows with transoms  (4) causing considerable damage to the windows and frame. So much of the interior casement and decorative wood could not be saved and used again.  The window installer, Mike, did a superb job with all the new woodwork.  I have had numerous compliments on how good those windows look from painters, and other general contractors.  We had 32 windows done in total.  The job took about a week and a half (no Sat/Sun work).  The company sent two installers and the same two were here the entire time.  The exterior look of the windows is extremely good.  The way they wrap the vinyl around the frames make them standout and appear better than other window replacement jobs I have seen in my neighborhood.  The whole company from owner to salesperson to installer are very professional, and I highly recommend them.

I think they realized that it was a low cost job, as a result the salesman was okay but not the greatest helpful person in the world. They did have to spend a bunch of time with me because I was 100% certain of what kind of door I wanted. The price was not cheap. The person who came in did spend a lot of time and did an excellent job with the installation. For a company like this - it is a cheap job, let's face it they'd rather have more expensive jobs. I guess you can't expect great things when you're asking for a low cost job. The guy who owns the company is a nice guy, I guess it is just the salesman himself.

I am happy to report that I have had no door or window problems in my house. Everything was put in securely and this company is obviously good at what they do. Everything they have done is very sturdy. I have no complaints about them in terms of the work they do.
