During tearing out the master bath he broke the pipe connection and had to call us to find out where thea main was. The toilet was installed improperly, and was leaking, after coming back twice and it was still leaking we had to have our plumber come in and fix it with DUH a wax seal and remove the stick they left. The real clusterflup was the man cave bathroom. First they installed the toilet without ensuring that it was connected to the sewage pipe, we had to call rotorouter to scope it. The floor had to be re jackhammered to install the drains, after they left I noticed a black spot on the ceiling of the man cave shower(dog cleaning station), The same incompetent *** was used to connect the water to the main and guess what? It leaked. They left the Circuit pannel for the basement in the bathroom and now the entire bathroom is shorted out.

Do not use this contractor! project began May 2nd and wasn't completed till September. Tile in laundry room and fireplace was ok. The bath project had the supply lines cut off by his plumbing contractor, they had to delay the project while they ran the lines through the attic, however in the process lost one of the doors to the master bath. Took several times to have them relocate the shut off valve for the outside faucet because of poor communication and no supervision. When it came time to tile the baths they were not experienced or skilled to do this. Used 1/4" backer board, did not waterproof the board tile was not even and did not line up correctly. Tile on floor was also incorrect as several cracked while he was doing the installation. Plumbing for shower was too low for shower tower and had to be redone by another plumber, again no communication or supervision. Clyde had his tile man come in to correct and he said that it would have to completely torn out down to the studs and start over as floor of shower was not correct for drainage. All the problems were confirmed by two other contractors I called to assess the situation. The extra cost added to the $18,000 I paid him was another $10989.00 to replace all the NEW tile that he incorrectly installed and backer board and supplies as well as the labor, I still owed him around $4100.00 that he asked for even though he agreed that the job was not right. Used his man to redo the master bath; but it took him 10 days to complete due to personal problems even though he did an acceptable job and a few items were not as other contractors would normally do the job and I had to pay him directly. I used another contractor to complete the hall bath to complete it to a quality level normally expected. Clyde Promised he would pay for the shower glass but never did, promised to have a cleaning service come in to clean up the mess they made when they tried to repair the tile that was set incorrectly but never came through.

Awful! Will never hire again! After all said and done job was awful! Bathroom flooded the first time tub was used. We paid him for the job, and the job still iasnt finished....won't return phone calls or texts. Might as have stolen our money.

A year later the work is not complete and he never repaid my deposit. The BBB was notified and a claim is being filed in court. Beware!!!

I am a supplier to Southern Coatings......Clyde Sawyer fails to pay his subcontractors. Be guarded in providing any deposit money.
