In the initial stages of construction, the concrete slab for the garage was poured out of square. The framers built a few walls (incorrectly) before they realized that the slab was out of square. It took this general contractor several months to decide how to fix this situation and resume building. A new concrete company was hired to remove the slab and pour a new slab the correct size. A new framing crew was hired to replace the original crew (which was very unskilled). The end result was a nice addition to our house, but it took the general contractor approximately five months to complete the project with very poor customer service and communication along the way.
