Appliance Repair
This was the most painful experience using this company. They were called in by my insurance because the original repair company didn't service my type of washer. When we were first called I told their phone representative what the problem was with the washer as stated by the other appliance repair firm. I told the woman that I would call back later with the name of the exact part. I did so and left a message on their answering machine. When the repair technician was suppose to come he did not and didn't bother to call us to inform us that he wasn't coming. My home insurance company found out Artis was running behind but still they didn't call to say they weren't coming. We finally made another appointment a week later expecting the washer to be fixed since we did call in with the part information but to our surprise the technician came in, said "Oh you need a water valve," and walked out saying he needed to order the part. Again this was the part I called about. A week and a half later we hadn't heard from Artis and spoke to our insurance company only to find out that the part wouldn't come in for about five days. I complained to the insurace company over and over again about Artis and the fact that we took off of work to have these people come in. On Friday June 20, 2008, I was called and told that the part was in and that they would be at my home again during the daytime hours. I informed the lady that I would not facilitate them again and that the earliest I would be home would be around 5:00 pm. She said that she would tell the technician. Again on Monday they didn't show up. No call; no nothing. I contacted the insurance company who contacted the owner. They couldn't find their technician for the appointment and now I have to wait another day for my washer to be fixed. The owner acted like he didn't know anything about this which is ridiculous. BE VERY CAREFUL with these people since they do not communicate with customers. Their apathetic attitudes overshine any abilities that they may have. I've been without a washer for over a month. I've made EXTREMELY strong complaints to the insurance company as I am doing here.
