Saia

Saia was hired to deliver our hot tub by Aqua Living Factory Outlets. They dropped our tub over three feet, causing significant damage. Their delivery person was not properly equipped to safely transfer the 750 lb., upright package from their truck to the curb. Rather than a forklift, we got one man with a pallet jack, and a lift-gate that was too narrow to accommodate the package and jack. We watched this man precariously try to shuffle the load on its edge, naively assuming he knew what he was doing. When the load finally slipped off the truck, it tilted over and fell to the ground on its base. The driver actually positioned himself to try and CATCH it, before reconsidering. Clearly, Saia are trying to cheap out on both equipment and training. If you value having your large items delivered undamaged and without injury, go with someone else.
