"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

Chimney Inspection questions, answered by experts

Professionals use brushes, vacuums, and diagnostic tools to ensure thorough cleaning and safety.

To maintain metal roof health, schedule regular inspections, clear debris from gutters, and check for signs of corrosion.

Roof leaks can go undetected for months or even years. A smaller leak that doesn’t cause visible signs in your home’s living area may allow water intrusion for a long time before you notice it. The longer a leak goes undetected, the worse the damage will be, so it’s important to frequently check for signs of a leak to keep a small problem from getting much bigger.

If a roof is not vented, trapped air and moisture have nowhere to go and will cause moisture to build up in the attic. When moisture builds up, it can cause mold and mildew, leaks, and rot. It will make the space hot and stuffy, which can result in higher energy bills as the HVAC system works overtime to regulate the temperature.

It's important to consider your home's condition to see if it's fit for the extreme stress of being lifted. There are two different methods typically used during lifting a house: raising or underpinning. While both are tried-and-true ways to lift a house, your home will likely withstand some disruption to walls, floors, and ceilings like cracking drywall.
