 + -1 moreTHEN HE TOLD ME THAT HE DID THE ENTIRE JOB OF PAINTING THE GARAGE AND DOOR AND STAIRS FOR $425.00 AND THE DRYWALL AND PAINT W/METAL BRACES WHERE THE WATER HEATER SITS ON, WAS NO CHARGE SINCE HE HAD DONE WORK FOR ME BEFORE. (A FAVOR IF YOU WILL) BUT IF ONLY I COULD HAVE GOTTEN HIM TO RETURN THE CALLS FROM MARCH TO JULY, WE COULD HAVE DISCUSSED THE DELAY IN A CIVIL MATTER OVER THE PHONE RATHER THAN THE WAY HE SCREAMED AT ME. HE FELT BETRAYED I USED ANGIE'S LIST BUT IT WORKED AND HE CALLED BACK. THERE WAS ONE TIME IN MARCH I COULDN'T MAKE IT DUE TO PLANS. BUT ALL THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF HE WOULD HAVE RETURNED THE CALLS. IT'S A SHAME BECAUSE HIS WORK IS GOOD AND HE IS DEPENDABLE. I JUST WISH HE HAD RETURNED THE CALLS TO WORK OUT A PLAN FOR LATER WITH HIM.
Description of Work: The garage floor was pressure washed then the walls were painted, as well as the cinder blocks along the inside of the garage bottom walls. The door was to be painted and the stair railings. And drywall and paint w/metal braces where the water heater sits on. AFTER RECEIVING THE LETTER FROM ANGIESLIST.COM, I RECEIVED A CALL THE WEEK THE LETTER WENT OUT. HE STATED HE HAD A $3000 JOB THAT TOOK PRECEDENCE OVER MINE WHICH WAS ON THE 2ND WEEK OF MARCH, AND THEN ON MAY 30TH HE HAD A CAR ACCIDENT AND FRACTURED SOME RIBS, BUT I HAD LEFT MESSAGES PRIOR TO MAY 30TH AND HIS WIFE CALLED 2 DAYS AFTER THE ACCIDENT AFTER I HAD LEFT A MESSAGE ON THE HOME PHONE, BUT NOW WE WERE IN JULY 31ST.
