They always do a great job. They are very prompt and professional. I was orignally referred to them by a friend and have used them ever since. They replaced a unit at my rental property about 5 years ago. Their prices are fair and you can trust what they say. You dont have to worry about being misled or lied to about what needs to be done.

Heat pump on a rental house we owned failed (was not cooling). JHand A came out to work on the Rheem unit that was 3 years old. Found out that the condenser coils were bad. Unfortunately, with the change over to a new and 'improved' freon being forced on consumers, the part was no longer stocked by the manufacturer (NOT Jefferson Heating and Air's fault). Once Rheem got the new part to the technician, he was able to get it installed quickly (but late on a Friday afternoon). He also had to re-charge the unit with freon, which was the bulk of the repair cost. Everything was fine for about 1 to 1 1/2 months. Mid June found us with no air conditioning again. This time, they first refused to come back out to even see what happened. After being firm with them (and quot;I expect you here by Friday afternoon and hear from you by Friday eveningand quot;), they did come out and tried to explain the failure as our fault - lightning had struck the unit, damaging 'two of the three phases' in the unit. I know for a fact this unit never operated on three phase, and I called their lie out. They then said they were too busy to deal with this particular repair.
Wound up contacting Michael's Heating and Air in Athens. First just to look over Jefferson's work and see if they could replace. Michael's were pretty confident in their ability to repair CORRECTLY the problem (which I am sure was just a leak). We decided against the repair and spent $6000 on a new unit.
Good riddance to Jefferson Heating and Air Conditioning!

I have been very pleased with them. I've used them on and off for 15 years. They have been quite good. They have always solved problems reliably and earnestly. I've not had a problem with them. I haven't compared their prices but they are very comparable.
