Mr. Sturgis was able to find and pick up a replacement motor and returned the same day to install it. We were very pleased with the price and the promptness of getting the repair done.

Shortly after moving in to our new home in early 2008, the heat pump stopped cooling. We called Sturges based on the recommendation of a neighbor. A Sturges employee arrived as scheduled and, after detecting no leaks in the coil, determined that the system had not been fully charged when installed nor had the ductwork been properly secured. He charged the system and corrected the ductwork. In early Spring of 2009, once again the system stopped cooling so we called Sturges back. The owner, Keith Sturges, arrived and stated that the system was leaking within the walls and that we would have to knock holes in the walls to find the leak. After insisting that the employee, a year earlier, tested the coil for leaks and might have missed a leak, we convinced Mr. Sturges to recheck the coil before we started knocking holes in walls. He checked the coil and while he determine there was a leak 'somewhere in the outside unit', he was unable to locate the leak. He, once again, recharged the unit and said he would return the following week to go over the coil more thoroughly. We paid again for having the unit recharged. We waited 2-3 weeks for Mr. Sturges to call and schedule another appointment as he had stated he would. When he did not call, we called him and were told that we'd be called the beginning of the next week when the weekly schedule was set. After 2 or 3 additional calls back and forth between us and Sturges, he eventually returned - in the Fall of 2009...almost 6 months after promising to return the following week in early Spring. On this visit he located the leak in the coil and stated the coil was still under warranty so he would order a new coil and he again recharged the leaking coil. He further stated the new coil should be in within the week and as soon as it arrived he would call to set an appointment to install the new coil. We waited several more weeks before calling to find out what happened to the coil. Mr. Sturges stated the new coil was in, that our file was in his truck, and that we would be called on Monday of the following week to schedule an appointment. We waited a few more weeks and called back. We were told, yet again, that we would be called the following Monday to schedule an appointment. That was our last conversation with Sturges and here we are...some 5 months later still waiting for the install of the new coil with no word from Sturges. Our warranty runs out in a few weeks, as Mr. Sturges well knows, and we are now in a situation of having to find another A/C company to repair our unit; fearing that if the manufacturer actually sent Mr. Sturges our replacement coil months and months ago...a new repair technician may not be able to order another coil and we will be forced to pay well over a $1,000 retail price for a replacement coil and the labor to install it. We've now paid Sturges for 4 service calls, 3 recharges - warm weather is arriving soon and for all the money we've paid Sturges, we will have no A/C.

They were on time clean workers even through it was about 100 degrees. We were very pleasde with their work performance. They were able to perform the work within 2 days. When I spoke to other companies, I would have been out of air for about a week.

Called several different companies to come out and check air condition system not cooling. Two companies never even showed up. Sturges came right out and found problem. Gave price and completed work in two days.
