WHITE GLOVE CLEANING SVC

Description of Work: Supposedly, three women were to arrive and clean my ranch home. However, when I arrived home from work one hour after their arrival, one woman was waiting in my driveway. She stated that she dropped the others off at Kroger. She was very unprofessional and was lurking around the driveway. She offered to show me the house, but I could not wait until she left. Upon her departure, I inspected the home to my complete amazement!! I could not even tell the house had been cleaned. In fact, it had not been cleaned. I have hardwood floors throughout my home, and I could see the dust bunnies and my dog's toys under the sofa. I must say, the dust was under every piece of furniture. I noticed that the furniture had not been dusted. To my astonishment, the woman did not even attempt to dust around the items on the surface of the tables. There were threads and lint on the area rugs because they had not been vacuumed. I called the owne to complain, and she said she would come out the next day to reclean. Upon hanging up, I became even more agitated when I noticed the stainless steel appliances had not been cleaned and even had fingerprints. I don't even leave fingerprints on my appliances. Infuriated, I called back and demanded my 120.00 back. Clearly, the woman had not cleaned my house, and she did not have a cleanng crew. The girl on the phone stated that they do not clean french doors, vaccuum ottomans, or clean under furniture. As I stated above, I have all hardwood floors. Movement of furniture is not necessary to clean under the sofa. Simply shove a dust mop under the couch and chairs. Really, you don't vaccuum ottomans or clean the french doors in the sunroom!!! The owner/manager said that she would come back the next day and reclean the entire house. However, she called me after she visited my home and said she simply retouched the missed areas. By the way, I forgot to mention that the granite shower was smeared was something that I could not remove. So, I guess they did attempt to clean the shower in the master bathroom. She offered to come back the following month for half the price. Needless to say, I declined by not following up on her call the next month. I should have stopped payment on the check. Admittedly, she said she had another complaint the same day. I have a really good group of women that clean my house now!!! Being a member on Angie's List is worth it to write this complaint.
