About us
Our company is a small family owned and operated business located in Holly Springs GA. Kenny Greene has his GA State Conditioned Air Non-Restricted license and class 2 Boiler license. Carolyn Greene has her Mater Plumber - Non-Restricted and class 3 boiler license. We do not use subcontractors to perform our work. Kenny,Carolyn and several of our employees have been factory trained by many of the brands we represent,and are authorized service and warranty agents for many of the hot water tank manufactures. We attend many manufacture's training schools throughout the year to keep up with the ever changing and new technologies. This is one of the reasons for the broad scope of services offered. We perform new installation, replacement and repairs on all types of commercial and residential heating, cooling and plumbing systems. We also do new installation, replacement and repairs on all types of hot water systems, including tank and tankless water heaters, boilers and radiant floor heating systems. We care deeply about our planet and our indoor environments so we keep up to date on the most energy efficient and healthy products and services available that will make your home or office the most comfortable and healthy place you know. We provide design/build services for Solar, Geothermal and Radiant projects.

The technician showed up on time. He was very professional and courteous. He explained all that was being done so that there would be no surprises. It took about 45 minutes to fix the problem. He was even able to increase the overall water issue when I noted how disappointed I was with the existing pressure.
Kudos to K E Green Mechanical. They will certainly be on the top of my contact list for future plumbing issues.

Next day service. Work is performed by family owned and operated personnel. Owner (Carolyn) is very knowledgeable on all the products they sell and service and offers excellent advise to homeowner. They did exactly what they said they would do at a cost provided to the homeowner over the phone. Cleanup performed after the job completed. Eric (son of the owner) did a great job. Prices were checked and they are very competitive and the Company offers a large variety of products. Two year warranty received on installation and six years on HW tank.......Great Job!!
Kenny himself came out on time, on a Saturday, and was friendly and professional the entire time he was here. He got the part installed, got everything double-checked, and got everything working so that our guests didn't even know there had been a problem. It took less than 2 hours from beginning to end, and he honored his wife's original estimate, even though it took slightly longer than they expected.
I feel like it is important to tell people that we technically have a commercial heater for our residential pool, so a lot of the expense for this job was in the part that had to be replaced. Of the $900 listed, over $700 was cost and shipping of the single special order part. That's why I feel comfortable giving KE Greene an A on price, since his labor rate of about $125 per working hour with no trip fee and no rush job up-charge was better than any other vendor I have ever worked with.
When we had this problem pop up with the heater under such a tight deadline, we knew that there was always a chance that we would get the worst of all contractor worlds, which is why we came to Angie's List for help. We are amazingly glad we did, because instead of having a horror story to tell, we can honestly say that KE Greene created a miracle on an amazingly small budget, with friendly and professional service and a sensitivity to our needs like no other vendor we have used before. We are not only going to use them again for our pool and spa heater needs, we have replaced our old HVAC people as well, and will be calling KE Greene for all of our mechanical, HVAC, and hydronics needs in the future.
