Bennetts HVAC (Heating and Air Conditioning)

arrived and checked A/C. told me coils needed to be cleaned and needed a part that had to be ordered. left but said would be back to clean coils when part came in. did not tell me which part was bad.
called them on Tues 26th, was told part had not come in yet. waited 3 more days and was told the same thing then. called several more times over the next two weeks, was told same thing each time. have not heard from them since.

Came out because my pipes outside kept freezing. Was told I had a leak in the compressor And my duct/pipes in attic had a leak. I was furious because someone had come out in November and told us everything was fine but when they removed the pan that catches the water from the unit from the attic it looked as if it had been leaking for quiet some time. I was told that I replaced everything that needed to be replace to turn around 3 months later and have to replace the whole unit because what was replace to fix my problem wasn't the issue I was having. I called to complain to be told petty much there was nothing they could do. I felt I was taken advantage of because I was not in the states to take care of the issue in person. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone! They take advantage of military people all the time. Waste of my time dealing with them..

I am writing this review five yeas after the first service from this company because I just found out on June 1, 2013 that this company went to defraud our family. Our heat pump was installed in June of 2006. Each and every summer afterward we had to have the unit recharged with freon or the motor would freeze up. The first year, I asked the service provider why if, this was a brand new unit, why was I having to have it serviced. The first time, it was supposedly under warranty and the call was free. Each successive year, we were charged. When the unit failed again this year, I called ACE Pro because Bennett's had moved and I thought they had gone out of business. Jose, from Ace Pro, showed my husband where the unit had been pieced together with hoses that were too small. When he ran the serial number if the unit to see if it had a warranty on any if the parts, he came back to tell us that it was not a new unit in 2006 and that it was never a heat pump. I had talked extensively in my living room, to Mr. Bennett, telling him I did not want a heat pump, I did not like them. He spent 2 hours talking to us and said we would love having a heat pump, all the while planning to cheat us. He charged us 5600.00. He ripped out a perfectly good gas heating unit in my attic, which ACE Pro says is a mess. The two units don't match and who knows if the heating part was new when installed. Do not have them do any work for you. I am angry that we paid them cash and thought we were getting a new heat pump and heating unit. They talk a good game, but cheated us. I am very disappointed. They have moved locations, but I am sure they have not changed their practices. BEWARE!

after a fire we needed work done ......first they only showed up when they wanted too then the air handler they installed inside did not match with the unit outside so it did not work properly.... they came a few times trying to fix it with no luck... after a battle with them we had to hire a new company and had another air handler installed inside what cools properly now. upstairs they where suppose to clean duct work and air handler because of suds coming out of it..... they cleaned it but after turning it on we still had suds coming out and needed again another company to come and do the job right...
NEVER EVER WILL I HIRE OR RECOMMEND THAT COMPANY AGAIN

They removed all the old equipment and duct-work and install new duct-work and equipment in a timely and orderly period.
