Well where do I begin with the mess this company has gotten us into... My Husband and I contacted Ocmulgee Outdoors about repairing and then selling our Polaris Ranger Crew. We made an agreement with Zack (the owner's son) that he would repair our crew, sell it for us and in return we would purchase a 4-wheeler from him. Instead of waiting for the Crew to be repaired we purchased a 4-wheeler up front and dropped our Crew off for the repair work. Upon putting the Crew in the shop we already knew the display needed to be replaced as well as the fuel tank, fuel pump and a relay which added up to $948 including labor. Zack and Shane both agreed to go ahead and order the display hoping the other parts would not be needed. Approximatly four weeks went by and we did not recieve a phone call of the status of our Crew. Two weeks after dropping the Crew off for repairs my husband took a job in Indiana and moved. The Crew was a priority but not on the top of our list at the time. My husband called and spoke with Shane and was advised the part was never ordered because he never got the okay to order. At that time my husband advised Shane that the part should have already been ordered and since it wasn't it needed to be ordered. Another two weeks give or take a day goes by and still no status call on the Crew. I called and spoke to Shane and he said he didnt know where the part was but would check and call back. He didn't. My husband called Shane the same day and was told the same thing and would call back. He didn't. The following day Shane was contacted again and said the part was on back order, at that time my husband was a little upset that no one bothered to call to advise the part had been ordered and they were waiting for it's arrival. Serious lack of communication. Shane advised the part would be in on August 21 and would be installed at that time. Chris, my Husband asked to speak with Zack and began to explain his fustration for Ocmulgee's lack of communication and advised Zack of his company's lack of customer service and expressed his reasons for not doing business with another company for the same situation. Zack became very hostile with my husband as I over heard the entire conversation while Zack was on speaker phone. He advised my husband to come pick his *&%$ Crew up and get it off his property. After listening to two grown men duke it out on the phone I took matters into my own hands and contacted Zack and explained our situation. I explained to him that all we wanted was to be kept in the loop on the part status, we were never told the part was on back order and didnt understand why the part was not ordered to begin with. After Zack had an opportunity to calm down and discuss the situation with me I asked Zack to guarantee me that when the display came in it would be installed and we would be contacted with further repairs needed for approval. Zack agreed and even called Shane his mechanic in the room and updated him on the situation. Thursday the 20th Chris recieved a call from Shane and was advised the display was installed and the Crew still needed a fuel tank and pump. My husband said okay go ahead with the fuel repair, we need to get it up and running to sell. I contacted Zack on Monday for a price and was told the total was over $1500. Much to my surprise I advised I would have to call Chris to find out what the original agreed upon price was. After speaking with Chris he said the price was orginally quoted at $948 including labor for the fuel tank, fuel pump, relay and display. Zack explained the ERC, battery and some additional electrical work was needed to complete the fuel tank repair. I asked why we were not contacted to be advised of the additional repair cost and Shane explained he was told to repair it and Zack said his mechanics didn't have time to call their customers every time they ran into another problem. I explained to Zack that I was willing to pay $1000 which was $52 more than what we were originally quoted but I was not going to pay the other additional cost that were not approved by my Husband or myself. Zack told me that the final price was $1048 and that was it and if I didnt have the other money not to come get the Crew. After trying to reason with him and said I couldnt believe he was going to keep my Crew over $48 that I didnt even approve he replied with cursing me. At that point all niceness in me went away and I lashed out. Zack had the odacity to say he was loosing money on this deal. I explained that was not my fault his mechanics installed parts we did not approve and I couldnt understand how he was loosing money on a deal that we bought a 4-wheeler from him and now paying the full $1048 against my will so that they will release my Crew back to me. Never in my life of dealing with companies have I ever recieved such POOR, LOUSY service. I WILL NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND STRONGLY URGE ANYONE WHO DOES BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY TO RECONSIDER!
