Boats
Their work and customer service is horrific. My boat would not start so they took it to their shop. After forcing me to pay before I could test drive it or even see it, they dropped it into the water. They were supposed to fix the boat in a matter of days but had it for almost a month and when it was returned it was extremely filthy and I had to purchase a mold remover to clean the seats and power wash it. I drove the filthy boat back to my dock and I shut the boat off to move my jet ski out of the covered slip and went to put my boat into the slip and it would not start. I immediately contacted them and told them I would wait until the next time I came up to the lake to see if it would be corrected - thinking maybe it just needed to be ran. The boat continued to not start so they took it away and stated it was different issues. I again was forced to pay before test driving the boat and brought it back to the dock. I did not drive it for two days because of rain and the next time I took it out, it barely started then stopped in the middle of the lake. Expressing my disappointment with Mark's via text they said someone would be to the house and I immediately stated the boat was not there and not to come to my house. They came anyway, took a picture of my empty dock (boat was being towed to a marina) and sent that picture with a text message that stated "Pontoon is't at your dock and no one is answering the door but there are 4-5 cars in your driveway????" I immediately responded and reminded them that the boat was stuck in the middle of the lake and that I had immediately told them that was the case and not to come to the house, but instead they questioned how many cars I had in my driveway and sent a picture of my empty dock. I explained to them that I did not trust their service anymore and that I just wanted a refund of the second repair (did not even ask for a refund of the first repair) and they refused. Then, one of their employees called my phone on accident and left a voicemail, which was full of cuss words between his employee and someone else. I informed the owner of this and he has yet to take responsibility and apologize. I could go on and on about my experience with Mark's Marine, but it would take another hour. I URGE you to think twice before taking your boat to this repair shop. Please feel free to reach out if you need confirmation - I have videos of the motor not starting, screenshots of their text messages, the picture of my dock they sent, etc. There are other fantastic repair shops in the area that treat you right.
