I asked for then to read over my list and make sure we had everything we needed on there and got a nasty phone call from Shannon saying they did not have time to keep doing revisions. It was NOT a revision. I was wanting to make sure we both understood what work was to be done and a price for the work. It was confusing. I asked to come to their office to sign the contract and was told 'we do not have people come to our home'. Yet, they wanted my money up front and Shannon told me they were just making sure they got paid. I was uncomfortable paying for work up front without knowing where their office was or how to contact them if they decided to vanish without completing the work. I offered to come to their office and pay cash and get the work started sooner. This is the email she sent me AFTER I hung up on her phone call jumping on me for wanting to make sure I understood everything. She said they did not allow people to come to their office/home and I said but you want me to jump through hoops (meaning pay up front) and no safe guards for me. I never once asked about her home or why they worked out of their home and I mind my own business about such things. This is flabergasting to me and I have never had such an encounter. Here is the email.....it should have been over and done as far as I am concerned. Shannon had to get the last word. This has been a bad experience. Ms. Looker: SHAME ON YOU for your quote over the phone "You want me to jump through hoops" & your Nasty tone. #1 - You called US for an Estimate Chris came out to meet with you - NO CHARGE - we then did THREE Estimates according to YOUR changes / budget. #2 - You were told FROM THE BEGINNING that our Policy is 1/2 up front. If you were that uncomfortable with the situations - you should have turned us down at that point - not have US "jump through hoops" & do another 2 Revisions on your Contract while continuously questioning / complaining about our Policy. #3 - We are a Licensed, Fully Insured Company who has worked with, & are working with major corporations such as Home Depot & Ikea. We also have worked on Hundreds of high & homes, along with middle class & lower cost homes. I offered you numerous references should you want to call them. #4 - I told you REPEATEDLY that I would not put a "timeframe" on this job, but that in fact we would work daily, without pause on your Bathroom, with the exception of drying time for Mud & Grout. #5 - We NEVER asked you to pay Cash. A check would have been fine, & a marked payment on your contract with the amount, check # ( or cash amount ) & date would have been provided, as we do on ALL our Contracts. #6 - Yes I have a Home Office - a nice big beautiful one at that, in a beautiful neighborhood. That does not mean that we invite Customers to make their own rules of coming here at their demand over trust issues. We have made a home office by choice so that I never had to put my Children in the care of a stranger ( which by the way is none of your business ). As I said, we are a Professional, Licensed, Fully Insured company, with not 1 complaint to the Better Business Bureau that has offered you references & never said we would take your money without a Receipt of Payment. #7 - Yes, we STAY BUSY ( thank God ). Know this - your job would have been completed already had it not been for all the revisions on your Original Estimate. We schedule in jobs as we get go aheads, Contracts signed, & Down Payment & not before. YOUR REVISIONS are why your job was not scheduled, started, & completed by now - not by our fault. #8 - This is a Holiday Weekend - I had already planned, & have on my schedule to call you on Tuesday for Chris to meet with you Wednesday ( per your last email on 8/28 of you giving the go ahead on this project ), get Contract signed, get Material needed on our end, & work interrupted starting this coming Thursday. We have gone above & beyond to satisfy your requests. We have been Polite & Professional. You then accuse us of having YOU "jump through hoops"??? Your actions - Constantly complaining about our Policy of 1/2 job cost up front, which in fact you knew from day 1. Wanting to know when you would be scheduled for start & completion date without us even having a go ahead yet. Having us re do your Estimate THREE TIMES Want my Home Address because you don't "trust us" - sorry if you have Trust Issues - we do not cater to peoples personal unfounded issues You then accuse us of having you "jump through hoops"??? Good Luck on your project. Shannon Full Remodeling & Woodworks by Chris 770-897-9454

I want to come to your office/house/where ever to sign the contract. I'm taking most of the risk and you don't trust me to pay you and I don't trust you to come back once I pay you. So let's be fair to each other. I will pay cash and get a signed receipt from you for one half the work. I will pay the other half when the work is finished. I will buy the tile, the grout, the sealer. I will buy the shower head and single on/off for the shower. I will buy the two vanity faucets, the double vanity, and the vanity top and the linen cabinet. I will buy the mirror for over the vanity, the light fixture for over the vanity and the small light near the shower door. I will buy the shower door. I already have the paint and primer. I can't think of anything else that's needed. You will do all the labor, the tear out, the clean up and the installation of the tile floor, tile shower, install the single on/off in the shower (the shower head is already there). You will install the two vanity faucets and plumbing for one as the plumbing for the second one is already there, you will install the vanity and linen cabinet and have ready for counter top and sinks, you will put the hardware on the vanity doors/linen cabinet ( I will buy the hardware)......you will install the mirror, the light fixture over the vanity, and the small light near the shower door, and you will install the shower door. You will also move the commode for the floor work and then install it. Am I missing anything? Since I'm buying most of this stuff you won't be needing to buy much to do the work. I want copper pipes as that's what's there now....so any additional pipes should be copper. We're using the same plumbing as is already there for the shower and the commode and one sink. You will provide whatever you need to repair any sheetrock and do the tile prep. You will paint the ceiling and the walls. I want us to be on the same page. Let me know if this is all that's needed for the job. I keep hearing how busy you are.....are you too busy to do this job within a two week time frame?????? It should not take more than 10 working days to do this bathroom. When I sign with you I want the work to start. Once we start I want to go with it without delay. I know you have to let mud dry and things like that but I want to have this completed within a reasonable time. I'm looking forward to it and I'm excited to have a new bathroom. Let me know. Yes it does include the removal of the Garden Tube Please allow me to check over the schedule. I'm thinking I can start around mid week next week. I do not take no money until it is close to start date. I normally collect a check three days before start date. This check is made out in my companies name. The three days is only to allow time for the check to clear. The following day we will arrive . I will drop off my guys to start the demo. While they are doing this I will go and pick up all supplies I am to provide to complete the job. I will be in Greene County by Lake Oconee finish up a Historical House for a photo shoot all day tomorrow. I will have Shannon reach out to you tomorrow and get everything set up. I will say that you will be HAPPY for choosing us....... Thanks and God Bless, Chris Sineath Full Remodeling & Woodworks by Chris 770-897-9454
