Ms. Looker:
SHAME ON YOU for your quote over the phone "You
want me to jump through hoops" & your Nasty tone.
#1 - You called US for an Estimate
Chris came out to meet with you - NO CHARGE - we then did THREE
Estimates according to YOUR changes / budget.
#2 - You were told FROM THE BEGINNING that our
Policy is 1/2 up front. If you were that uncomfortable with the situations -
you should have turned us down at that point - not have
US "jump through hoops" & do another 2 Revisions on your Contract while
continuously questioning / complaining about our Policy.
#3 - We are a Licensed, Fully Insured Company who has worked with, &
are working with major corporations such as Home Depot & Ikea. We also have
worked on Hundreds of high & homes, along with middle class & lower cost
homes.
I offered you numerous references should you want
to call them.
#4 - I told you REPEATEDLY that I would not put a
"timeframe" on this job, but that in fact we would work daily,
without pause on your Bathroom, with the exception of
drying time for Mud & Grout.
#5 - We NEVER asked you to pay Cash. A check would
have been fine, & a marked payment on your contract with the amount, check #
( or cash amount ) & date would have been provided, as we do on ALL our
Contracts.
#6 - Yes I have a Home Office - a nice big beautiful one at that, in a
beautiful neighborhood. That does not mean that we invite Customers
to make their own rules of coming here at their demand
over trust issues.
We have made a home office by choice so that I never had to put my Children
in the care of a stranger ( which by the way is none of your business ).
As I said, we are a Professional, Licensed, Fully Insured company, with not
1 complaint to the Better Business Bureau that has offered you references &
never said we would take your money without a Receipt of Payment.
#7 - Yes, we STAY BUSY ( thank God ). Know this - your job would
have been completed already had it not been for all the revisions on your
Original Estimate. We schedule in jobs as we get go
aheads, Contracts signed, & Down Payment & not before. YOUR
REVISIONS are why your job was not scheduled, started, &
completed by now - not by our fault.
#8 - This is a Holiday Weekend - I had already planned, & have on my
schedule to call you on Tuesday for Chris to meet with you Wednesday ( per your
last email on 8/28 of you giving the go ahead on this project ), get Contract
signed, get Material needed on our end, & work interrupted starting this
coming Thursday.
We have gone above & beyond to satisfy your requests. We have been
Polite & Professional. You then accuse us of having YOU "jump through
hoops"???
Your actions -
Constantly complaining about our Policy of 1/2 job
cost up front, which in fact you knew from day 1.
Wanting to know when you would be scheduled for start & completion date
without us even having a go ahead yet.
Having us re do your Estimate THREE TIMES
Want my Home Address because you don't "trust us" - sorry if you have Trust
Issues - we do not cater to peoples personal unfounded
issues
You then accuse us of having you "jump through hoops"???
Good Luck on your project.

I want to take out the shower AND the garden
tub. I want to leave the plumbing for the shower where it is with a new
shower head and a single on/off.
I will pay cash. I want to come to your
office/house/where ever to sign the contract. I'm taking most of the risk and
you don't trust me to pay you and I don't trust you to come back once I pay
you. So let's be fair to each other. I will pay cash and get a signed
receipt from you for one half the work. I will
pay the other half when the work is
finished.
I will buy the tile, the grout, the sealer. I
will buy the shower head and single on/off for the shower. I will buy the
two vanity faucets, the double vanity, and the vanity top and the linen
cabinet. I will buy the mirror for over the vanity, the light fixture for over
the vanity and the small light near the shower door. I will buy the shower
door. I already have the paint and primer. I can't think of anything else
that's needed.
You will do all the labor, the tear out, the clean
up and the installation of the tile floor, tile shower, install the single
on/off in the shower (the shower head is already there). You will install the
two vanity faucets and plumbing for one as the plumbing for the second one is
already there, you will install the vanity and linen cabinet and have ready for
counter top and sinks, you will put the hardware on the vanity doors/linen
cabinet ( I will buy the hardware)......you will install the mirror, the light
fixture over the vanity, and the small light near the shower door, and you will
install the shower door. You will also move the commode for the floor work and
then install it. Am I missing anything? Since I'm buying most of this
stuff you won't be needing to buy much to do the work.
"Please be advised that WE NEVER DID WORK FOR for [member name removed]. This was over an ESTIMATE, an Estimate that went on from 7-23-14 through 8-31-14 over a small Bathroom Remodel. Chris went to [member name removed] home ( no charge ) put an Estimate together - revised it 2 times ( no charge ). There were NUMEROUS phone calls & emails over the course of 1 month ( no charge ) & Payment Policy was explained on first phone call. Thre were 9 emails & NUMEROUS phone calls. The email that I sent to [member name removed] ( the 10th email ) which she has in her review is self explanatory. Please note - that I am never "Nasty" with our clients - if so, we would no longer be in business. References were offered & are always available to our clients.
