The diagnosis/troubleshooting was thorough and the work performed corrected the problem. A recent malfunction of the ECM/PCM led to failure of the catalytic converter. The clogged catalytic converter caused loss of acceleration and excessive engine revving when trying to accelerate.
Although the parts are overpriced when buying from Ford, aftermarket parts are more reasonably priced. Neal's considers the price of parts and tries to get the best deal for their customers instead of simply ordering every part from the vehicle's manufacturer.
It's a shame that the problems with the vehicle have not led Ford to issue a recall to correct the problem. However, Neal's reasonable labor rates made the repair much more affordable. Neal's keeps in touch throughout the diagnosis and repair process and takes the time to explain things to their customers. Highly recommended.
