I have used Meeks since owning this home ( 17 years ) and once again they came to the rescue! i continue to use this company because I feel they provide honest service for a fair competitive price. David, Dylan and crew did a professional job all while being friendly and keeping me in the loop about what was going on. Will use them again if need arises in future.

It went well but I think the charge was more than I expected. Any AC service provider will never charge for diagnostic if they perform the repair. I charged for Trip (10 miles away) & diagnostic $69 do not why I already charged for the labor to replace the capacitor.

It sounds like we failed to inform you in advance of how our trip charge is applied. Our trip charge of $69 is a part of every service call and the trip charge is in addition to the repair(s). We apologize for failing to make that clear. Please keep in mind that the $260 charge included our trip charge, the capacitor, checking the freon in all of your systems, and adding freon to one of your systems. We are disappointed that your experience with our company was not a positive one, but we are thankful for your feedback. We are better because of it. We'd love another opportunity to serve you in the future."

Ryan arrived on time and was very professional. He serviced both units and quickly determined that the problem with the pump was a clogged feed line. He cleared the line and replaced the safety overflow switch which he noticed was not installed properly. Also applied Angie's list discount for first time customers. They will be my permanent A/C company.

We got estimates from 5 different dealers. Mr. Meeks took the time to explain his recommended solutions for every issue we mentioned (and some we didn't). The product, warranties, and additional labor were not just competitive, their system gave us more bang for the bucks. They even talked me out of a more expensive system that saved me $4,000. Get the microfiber filter. It's a must if you have pets or other allergies.

My electric bills were unusually high during the winter and the HVAC was running a lot. I called Meeks Heating and Air to come out for a "wellness" check. The service person discovered a refrigerant leak due to a faulty evaporator coil. Thought it would take a few days for the part to be ordered, but  the part was in stock, so the repair was done the next day. I was pleased to discover the part was still under warranty so there was no charge for it. Mr. Jeff Meeks and his employees do a great job and are very conscientious.

We cannot say enough good things about Meeks heating and air. The original technician that came out, Darryl, was very professional and polite. He took time to explain everything to us. He wanted to make sure that we knew everything that was needed to be done and wanted to make sure we knew what was needed. When the installers, Shannon and Jody, arrived they did a wonderful job. They explained everything and were very professional. They took the time to make sure that we were happy with everything and I would highly recommend them again! We are very pleased with our new Trane gas furnace and will be sure to call them again for anything that we might need!

Professional, not pushy, responsive on all fronts.  Darrell was the rep who came to the house to determine system needs and he was my contact through the whole installation.  The install team worked for two full days to complete the work.  Installed all new Trane systems, added one return duct, two thermostats.  All works very well and we are happy.

Last night, the upstairs (where the bedrooms are) had no A/C and it was 89 degrees. I was expecting my daughter to drive into town with a car load of friends this evening and I had no idea how I was going to accommodate sleeping arrangements in almost 90 degree bedrooms! I called Meek's Heating and Air this morning.  The tech named Darrell was on call. Darrell did a little trouble shooting over the phone.  Even though the things he had me try did not restore the air, I greatly appreciate that Darrell walked me through some things that might be common causes of no A/C. Darrell of Meek's Heating and Air left his home on a Sunday to come out and take care of my family!  Upon arrival, Darrell was as cheerful as he was when he was here on thursday for an unrelated problem.
     Darrell performed a quick but thorough assessment, found a loose wire, secured the wire, and the A/C was restored!  He explained his findings, what he did to remedy the problem, and gave me some suggestions on how to get the upstairs cooled sooner than later.  I put the A/C on 75 in the "on" position "instead of my usual "auto position (I will adjust it back to "auto" when things have cooled in a few hours) and opened all the upstairs doors for a quicker cool down as recommended by Darrell.
     Darrell is an exemplary representative of Meek's.  He is very pleasant with a kind demeanor, has keen assessment skills, and quickly works to problem solve.  Meek's is the only heating and air provider that I will ever call when I need work performed.

I had my plumber here yesterday and he said I needed an air conditioning person instead, and I needed them right away,  After some research, I chose to call Meeks Heating & Air and told them I needed someone to come next day.  Even during this busy time of year, Mr. Meeks was able to work me into a tech's schedule!  The office called me today and kept me informed of when to expect the tech. 
     The tech arrived, was very pleasant, performed an assessment, and explained to me exactly what the problem was and what caused the problem.  He was extremely professional, had all of the things he needed in which to perform my repair, and cleaned up the area completely.
     The tech, "Darrel," advised me on follow up care and what I needed to do to prevent future problems.  The pricing was EXTREMELY reasonable.  I received a new customer discount, and an Angie's List discount.  However, if I would have added the new customer discount and the Angie's List discount back onto the invoice, I still would have considered the pricing EXTREMELY reasonable.  
     Meek's service techs are very kind, customer oriented, very skilled at their professional, and honest, fair folks.  I highly recommend this family owned and operated business that has grown their business to have brought in very special people like Darrel.  I would ask for Darrel the next time I need service, but would trust any service tech that Meek's would send to my home.

Darrell showed up exactly on time and diagnosed problem as low Freon, he put in a pound of Freon and system works great. He also checked other units and said they were fine. It was a breath of fresh air to find a company that honest.
