He did the electrical work just fine. However he secured the new box with nails that were too long and penetrated
through to the outside wall! He is the son of our former electrician. In time he will be as good as his Dad!

The electrician did not come when he agreed. He actually came a few weeks later than we agreed.
He put in two outlets on the new deck that are fine.
He put in a GFI outlet in the yard (for a water fountain) that stopped working within a week and had to be replaced. He said the outlet was "bad." Since it was replaced, it regularly trips the breaker it is on. We had someone else look at the work and the new guy said that Elite Electrical (Chuck LaPrade) split off from the air conditioning equipment breaker and that's what was causing the problem.
He put in a new breaker for our sprinkler system pump. It had to be fixed within a week. Mr. LaPrade said that the problem with this was that ants were preventing contact when the pump was turned on and off. We accepted that explanation, but now that we have seen the poor quality of his other work, we wonder about this.
He repaired a light on the bridge that still works.
He replaced four small spotlights (landscaping spots) for four larger halogen lights (square type lights). These worked for two weeks and now do not work at all. We have asked him to come back and look at these, but he has ignored our calls and emails.
We asked him to put in a new panel in the basement and to call our power company to arrange the installation. He seemed confused about what we wanted him to do. I later found out from the power company that he did call, but told the company he'd not done anything about the panel. When I asked him if he had done work on the panel, he refused to respond.
We emailed Chuck LaPrade, we called his home and his cell phone, and even appealed to the contractor who recommended him in the first place. LaPrade did not return any calls asking him to come and repair the lights he put in that stopped working after two weeks, and further, he lied to me about what he did/didn't do about the panel. Assuming about $200 for his expenses (outlets and lights), and considering that his helper put in 16 hours on the job and Mr. LaPrade put in about 6 hours, we ended up paying them $111 per hour for work that was not done on time, was NOT done, or had to be REDONE by them or by an outside electrician whom I called AFTER he refused to fix the lights. Which stopped working after TWO weeks.
I do not know if he is a crook or merely incompetent. Either way, I would stay far away from Chuck LaPrade and Elite Electrical Solutions of Griffin GA.

They arrived on time, did a thorough assessment of the work, provided an estimate, and when we said go ahead, they were prepared to do the work right away. In addition to running the wires and hooking up two electrical panels, the work required drilling through the basement of the house to access the panel. They worked hard for four plus hours, checked everything out before they left, and cleaned up. They were professional, pleasant, and efficient. I will definitely use Elite Electrical Solutions again.

It went very well overall. They were very fast and accurate and knew what they were doing from start to finish. I would definitely use them again. They even helped me move some furniture in my living area.

We scheduled the work for Saturday morning at 8 AM. Charles and his brother arrived at about 8:15 AM and got right to work. While he had told me earlier in the week that it would probably take about 3-4 hours, they were done and gone within 2 hrs. They even swept up the kitchen when they were finished. I will be calling him again when I have a need for electrical work.
