Let me explain I have been reluctant to write this review. The owners are delightful people and seemed so sincere but THEY don't paint and sure as h*** don't supervise. I've waited months in hopes my level of frustration and disappointment would diminish. Unfortunately, it only smolders.
We upgraded to Sherwin Williams Emerald paint, in order to ensure the best results. Their 'professional' painters painted everything they said they would; the ceilings, walls, woodwork and doors. That's ALL surfaces, to include speckled floors, counter tops, door knobs, trim around ceiling fans, etc. There was NO prep-work. We now have cobwebs and dust balls embedded in very good paint, on all surfaces. Roller and brush marks are prominent in many areas; especially the ceiling in our kitchen and eating area.
They had requested half payment before the job was finished. No problem. We expected professional results. It seems to us, a 'professional' would KNOW what imperfections to look for and the areas to clean-up. Yes, we called them back to repaint, repair and clean-up three or four times. We finally paid them off, to be finished with them. Southern 'Perfection' isn't even average.
"[Members Name], again, we are quite confused because during the time of your project, our mother was dying and we did inform you of that while we traveled out of town twice during your project for her funeral. As the owners, we came back several times personally and are quite surprised that you are still unhappy. Even though that is the case, we still would like to come back and repair whatever issues you are having. However, you have not reached back out to us since December 2013 and just placed this negative review last week. Life is unfair and we realize that, even though our special and unusual circumstances clouded your hopes of us as the owners being personally there are your location at all times was not met and we apologize that you feel that way. However, it does not diminish that we stand behind our work and are still willing to correct any issues that you are unhappy with. Just let us know."
The painters were on time, polite and efficient on the day they completed the pressure washing of my home
On the day they were scheduled to paint, they arrived on time, were professional, cleaned up after the job was completed, and made sure I inspected their work before they left for the day
The job was completed sooner than what was quoted.
