About us

Since 2000, Runkle Consulting has proudly serviced the Metro Atlanta area conducting foundation and structural inspections of existing homes, and structural engineering of refurbished shipping containers for commercial and residential use. We primarily conduct structural/foundation inspections for homeowners on Saturdays but can be flexible. Our price is a flat fee that includes travel, inspection, and creation of a written report signed by a Professional Engineer licensed in Georgia with over 30 years of engineering experience. George, as a Structural Engineer, evaluated the entire foundation of my house. He pointed out issues that needed attention and issues that develop in many houses over time that merely have to be monitored. I found his cost/benefit analysis very valuable. George was very knowledge, had years of experience, and was very personable. He developed a detailed plan to correct sags in my kitchen/dinning area that I can submit to foundation contractors for bids. I was very pleased with his service.
