McKee Heating and Air Conditioning

Mark was AMAZING!  After calling the regular air conditioning companies in Newnan and getting no where. I remembered that I had a membership on Angie's List.  I went through the suggestions and McKee Heating and Air came up in the list.  I went through all the suggestions and was really impressed by all the wonderful things written about Mark.  After reading all of the reviews I went to his website and researched for a few minutes and decided to call him.  It was Sunday morning at 9:00am. Mark answered the phone and was very helpful.  I told him my issue and he pretty much diagnosed the problem on the phone.  He told me that he needed to look at his schedule but he would fit me.  He called me back in 30 minutes, just as he said he would and was at my house by 11:30am.  His diagnosis on the phone was exactly the issue and he had the air up and running in 30mins.  He checked our other unit because it was not cooling like normal. The unit was low on refrigerant because of a slow leak.  He replaced the refrigerant and fixed the issue. Mark did not charge us for an emergency call (Sunday morning) and was very helpful.  He sat down with my husband and answered all his questions and provide some really great tips regarding daily care to help the systems stay in working order.  After living in Newnan for 14 years I have to say I am so glad I have found a heating and air company that I can trust and will use again.    I feel like all the others in the past have taken advantage of me because I did not know any better.   If you are looking for a heating and air company that is  honest, has integrity and does not leave you stranded for days, Mark is the person to call.  Thank you Angie's List for providing such a wonderful recommendation. Mark you just earned another customer for life.

It was a piece of cake for me, but poor Mark worked like a dog here in the extremely hot attic. He was always in a good mood and always went above and beyond what he needed to do. Always cleaned up after himself and I have nothing negative to say about him and his work. The work has been completed.
I was planning on this expense, but Mark made it much less painful with his great ways and work ethics.

I've been living in this house for 21 years and I have been cheated by so many people, there are so many people down here and they cheat you. This has been the best man who's ever been in my house to take care of heating and air. He is the only one I'll ever use. I don't think there's anybody else I've hired. My furnace broke on a Saturday night, and we had been having extra freezing weather down here in Georgia and it happened to be over a weekend where the temperature went down like to about 18 but when it went up on Saturday evening, but I did pull out an electric heater that I had and also I had a gas fireplace but anyway, the dog and I were fine and I called that on Monday morning and told him what had happened and I said, and ldquo;you know, we are fine, you don't have to come today, we'll be okay because we're still warm enough.and rdquo; But he said, and ldquo;no I will come today, but it might be late because I have to go to another city and work and I also have to go to another place to work and it could like this evening.and rdquo; I said and ldquo;that's fine, the dog and I will be okay, till tomorrow we're fine,and rdquo; and he said fine and hung the phone up and about 6 minutes later he called me and told me that he had arranged all of his appointments for that day and he would be there in about 30 minutes. So he rearranged and came to my home immediately and fixed that. He is the only one with the company, he owns the company and he goes back at least 30 years with experience in heating and air. I do mean his experienced, so I have given his name and told people, they could look on Angie's List LLC and because everybody around here has a problem with repair people. But it's true that he is the only person I'll use. The price was good and I am very pleased.

We started with a detailed 'Scope of Work' definition and estimate. This was changed until we had final agreement on required tasks and costs. In this project, Mark McKee (owner) had to work around other vendors, make multiple trips to the site, and contract some vendors. All work was done on time, within the budget, and the quality of work and materials were excellent. Mr. McKee also provided consulting advice on improving the system for better efficiency. We felt he was part of the team, and he had our self interests at heart. Mark was a pleasure to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone needing HVAC work or advice. He is a man of integrity, and his work ethics are wonderful.

The project went very well! Mark was onsite throughout the install. I have had hvac systems replaced before, but never had one installed new from scratch. The amount of work that went into the new install was amazing...from running the refrigerant lines, power lines, thermostat lines, condensate line, drain pan, feed ducts, return ducts, adding breakers, etc., etc. plus all the fabrication around the air handler...Mark did it all! Mark is one of the most maticulous craftsman I have ever observed....I say craftsman because with the new install, there are many decisions that must be made that affect airflow which will ultimately affect the unit's ability to operate as designed. Mark's expertise and knowledge insured a proper install....absolutely NO on the job training here...he knows it all!!
I am very pleased with the results! We now have a living space that can be enjoyed! I recommend Mark McKee HVAC highly...he speaks plain english and insures you understand the terminology and proposed methodology. He did not pressure us in one direction or another, but simply provided the facts and options and let us make a well informed decision. The results of his recommendation and install are oustanding! Our exisitng HVAC system is presently 17 years old, but runs fine. When it's time to replace it, McKee HVAC is the firm I will hire! I am a very satisfied customer!
