Jordan said he would call on Sunday evening to confirm our Monday appointment and I was impressed when he did in fact call Sunday night to confirm that he would be at my home about 11 Monday morning. He estimated the job to take 10 hours.
Jordan showed up at 11 AM like he said he would with his water truck. He said that his helper was on his way and would be there later. He began to fill his water tank from my well, which is what we agreed on. I told him I had to go to the store and would be back shortly. He was getting started when I left and had completed about 1 8 foot section of the fence. As I was leaving the store Jordan called to say he was having issues with his equipment and the water was not heating properly. He said he was going to get the equipment repaired and would be back that afternoon or call to make other arrangements with me. He never came back and I have not heard from him since. He did 3 8 foot sections of fence on one side only.
I feel we had a verbal contract and he did not hold up his end of the deal.
how little it was going to cost me to get my porch, driveway, back
porch, and house pressure washed. We agreed to let him do it. He came
out with another person the next week. They got the job done in just a
few hours. He even gave me some advice on how to keep my house (we just
moved into it) from getting so dirty the next time. Overall, I was very
pleased with their work.
