DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I very rarely leave reviews but the experience with this company has been VERY disappointing. We were previously with Boomerang Sanitation who was always amazing. For whatever reason they decided to merge with this company. Customer service is IMPOSSIBLE to reach. The text agents will text once and then not respond for days. I’ve only gotten through by calling the cancellation department who keeps offering discounts and free months but none of that matters when the trash isn’t being picked up. They’ve changed our date twice only to still not come. We’ve now moved to a Thursday date and last week they came on Saturday evening. This week they haven’t come at all and when I FINALLY spoke to them they told me this is a new route for the driver and he forgot our street. The resolution is that they will send someone Tuesday. Almost one full week from our scheduled pick up date. Absolutely unacceptable. Most of the families in our city plan to leave this company because of how awful the experience is. I think they merged with too many businesses in our area too quickly and now they don’t know how to handle it. We are looking to take our business elsewhere

Pay for a service and the service NEVER happens. I am calling every week to inform them of a missed pick up. They always tell me the earliest they can get to me is on Saturday, my pickup day is on Tues. You mean they can pickup my overflowing trash, now, on Saturday…the weekend but you can’t get it on the day it is to be picked, during the work week. I don’t get it.

Red Oak is a terrible company, they continued to miss service each week and I had to call and sit on hold. We canceled because of the poor service and now they won’t pick up their cans they have sat curb side for almost 3 weeks. Don’t waste your money.

{ATTEMPTED ASSAULT BY DRIVER SEVERELY UNPROFESSIONAL} Driver did not properly check addresses and took the wrong trash can after we pay our bill via autopay. When the driver was forced by Red Oak Sanitation to redeliver the trash can he was extremely irate and cussing us that we were insisting he couldn't read the mailbox numbers and attempted to assault the homeowner for "insinuating his intelligence" and acted as if he was going to pull a gun from the front seat of the garbage truck. I had to call Hall County police to come organize this situation and Red Oak Sanitation cancelled our service due to their garbage truck driver assaulting the homeowner here. They have many many many bad reviews online I would suggest avoiding Red Oak due to what is obviously very poor management decisions over the last couple years.

The very worst experience I have ever had with a service company. They missed my very first pickup, and that should have been a sign. In the 9 months I was a customer, they consistently missed my pick-ups--at least once a month. Though having to go through this pattern over and over was frustrating, it is in their customer service where they really fail. When calling, I never received an apology from the representatives, and worse, I was always made to feel like they were doing me a favor! The last straw was when they offered to pick up my missed trash the next day for a $15 fee. You read that right: they missed my pick-up, and only offered to correct the error after I pay an additional $15!! I have never been so frustrated with a company. Needless to say, I canceled. Stay far, far, far away from Red Oak Sanitation!

The bill for 5-7/18 for 49.50 was paid , the bill for 8-10/18 said thank you for payment and payment due 49.50 was paid . Payment for 11/18-1/19 said thank you for payment and 84.50 due and I called and asked why the increase and was told that recycle had not been paid. When I said I paid the “amount due” they didn’t offer an explanation. On 10/15/18 they picked up both trash and recycle cans . When I called to inquire they said the payment of 84.50 (due on 11/1/18) had not been paid and said my account was in arrears. My daughter called and they admitted they screwed up and received the check for 84.50 and the trash and recycle cans would be brought out within the week which was unacceptable . They dropped off the trash can only (no recycle can) and my daughter called back and said we would not need their “service” after 1/31/19 . Pitiful service !

We moved from VA and have really appreciated the great customer service provided by Red Oak. Tim was very helpful in helping us get not only good services but and an affordable rate. Our trash has always been picked up in a timely manner and we are thankful for the extra services red oak provides such as an extra large item, yard items, etc.

I do use them and they come on Fridays. The price is for three months. I have used them for 14 months. They have excellent service and they have a recycle bin which I love. Recycle is done every two weeks. The only complaint I have with them, is they call the day after a holiday to let me know that won't be doing a pick-up. They are a little behind on that.

They are the in the HOA fee so I don't know how much they charge. I have been using them since early 2012. They are pretty good. They usually pick it up on time, and after they pick it up, they don't spill on the neighborhood, they dump the dumpster, and put it back in it's place. They are good. They are professional, and they do the work correctly.

I used Red Oak for several years, and was satisfied with the service for much of that time. The picked up the trash, mostly in a timely manner. But in the last 12-18 months (2012-2013), there was a distinct drop in service. Sometimes they would miss a trash pickup, but more often it was the recycling that was missed. Sometimes it would get picked up the next day, sometimes not. Then I would have to call the office to get a pickup. Most times when I called, I was immediately put on hold. When I finally got to talk to someone, they were rarely friendly. Never apologized for the missed pickup. I was usually told they would pick up next day, but it often took 2 more days.
In the last 4-5 months, the scheduled recycling pickup was hit or miss. In the last 2 months, they missed the recycling pickup 3 times out of 4 or 5. When I called to complain, I got a LOT of attitude from the woman who answered the phone. I complained that I was tired of paying for a service I was not receiving, and she responded back that I didn't pay for recycling pickup, it was provided as a free service. So I asked if I could cancel my trash pickup but keep my free recycling pickup? You can guess how that went. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, and he was more professional. I stressed that all I was wanted was for them to pick up my trash and recycling on the scheduled days. I was assured they would do a better job. When they missed 2 more recycling pickups, I canceled the service and was told to make sure the cans were empty for them to collect. I explained the recycling can would not be empty since they had missed the last pickup. A week went by and the cans were still sitting on the curb, the recycling can was still full. It took 7 more days and two more calls to get them to remove them.
I changed to a different service that cost less, is courteous on the phone and so far, has picked up on schedule. I'd never switch back to Red Oak.

With the past freezing weather, I was notified that they would not pick up our garbage on our regular pick up day and would not pick up our trash for the entire week.  Normally during a holiday week, they pick up our garbage on the following day.  I called requesting either an additional pick up for that week or a credit on my account for services that I won't be receiving.  The very rude customer service rep informed me that was not an option and that the "owners"  just decided this was the way they were going to handle it.  I asked to leave the "owner" a message voicing my concerns.  I have yet to hear back from them.  I called back and asked again why they could manage to work in a different pick up day during a holiday week and the again rude rep stated that is just the way the owners were going to handle it and she ended up hanging up on me.  I then emailed the owners through their website asking for a call back to discuss my concerns.  I stated I would be switching my company if I did not receive any satisfaction regarding this matter.  No one has contacted me.  Trash is lined up along the streets of my neighborhood, blowing around in the streets thanks to these "owners" decision.  I have overlooked the rude customer service reps in the past, the fact that my garbage has been picked up the following day on several occasions during a non holiday week, and having witnessed my recycling being picked up by the regular garbage truck.  This is the last straw.  I have been a customer of this company for many years but will be terminating my service with them.  I would rather pay more for my sanitation services from a company that actually appreciates my business.  Terrible customer service!!!!!  Do NOT recommend.

They are very good. They are always on time and if you need something special, you just call up and they will come by and pick up just about anything as long as it is not like a hazard. They have a very good customer service.
