Terrible experience. My wife and I did everything we could to accommodate Noel, but in the end dismissed the crew and will pay thousands for another crew to finish the job. Would note that Noel frequently touts his 30 positive reviews and says the problem isn t me. It s you. But Noel has deleted accounts on other well-known platforms similar to this one to hide poor reviews. Noel was hired to oversee several projects at my house...converting a storage room to an office, refacing and repainting all of the cabinets throughout the house, installing a new master tub, re-tiling three bathrooms and a laundry room, installing outdoor lighting, and installing hardwood floors. Major problems we experienced: -I had to have an agreement written up...Noel does not have any standard contract that he uses for construction projects like this. Noel spent the first and second draws immediately, even though that money was meant to fund labor cost for THIS project. Didn t pay his crew for 2 months. In fact, I had to write them checks to keep their rent and cell phone bills paid. -Shower tile not grouted well, sharpie all over our tile that will not come out, shower drain uneven, shower door had to be replaced, dining room floors coming apart, garage RUINED after crew spray painted cabinet doors with no covering, new front entry door handle set ruined after being gouged on concrete, new cabinet doors have noticeable chips/imperfections, major scratches on office desk, dents all over my washing machine. -Did not order materials timely, stretching the timeline from 3 weeks to 4 MONTHs. -One crew member went to jail during the project. I had to put his family in touch with an immigration attorney, who's currently helping him. -His total lack of competence kept him from adequately supervising the crew. My wife and I were shocked at what he didn t know. He did not know how to measure for cabinet doors correctly, how to paint, what kind of tile grout and adhesive was needed...the list goes on. -I eventually gave up on relying on Noel to supervise and took on a General Contractor role myself despite having recently started a new position in ATL and commuting 1.5 hours to work each way. This was a MAJOR, major strain on me and my family. -His crew was outwardly hostel towards and about Noel...they did not like him, did not trust him, and mentioned repeatedly to me that they did not want to work for him anymore. -Noel left out of the country for a month without mentioning it to me. I texted him for an update, and was blindsided by a hey I m out of the country until the 29th text. -Noel did not take ownership for any of the issues that came up. It was consistently my fault or the crew s fault somehow. I have never seen someone so brazenly point fingers at everyone else but himself. -Noel lied to me repeatedly about cost, things that his crew said to him, completion dates, etc. And I m sure his response here will reflect lies, as well. During one particularly intense exchange, Noel accused my wife and I of changing our minds and not knowing what we want. This is exasperating...the only thing we changed our minds about was trim size and placement on the cabinets. Most shocking/frustrating, though, is Noel accusing me and my wife of taking advantage of his crew. This insult cuts deep...as mentioned, I wrote personal checks to the crew to keep them afloat because Noel did not have any money. He went 2 months without paying those guys, who were underqualified for the job but good, good people. They worked until midnight some nights trying to get through this job without getting paid. Noel took advantage of those guys, not us. We cared about that crew, shared meals with them, and tried our best to make this work. Based on reviews, Noel seems to be fine at hauling debris away. When it comes to real construction work, however...I strongly advise you to choose a...
