HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Our property is a short term rental property in Georgia and we reside in Florida. We put a lot of faith and trust in Marty to handle everything and were so wrong to do so! He said he would need 5 weeks to complete the job including time allowed for inclement weather. Contract was made for a 12 X 32 addition to the existing porch. However, the foundation was built 10 x 32. When I asked about that he told me it was an administrative decision. Never consulted with me, just built it as he saw fit! We signed a contract, made required payments as scheduled. He failed to deliver materials and manpower. With less than 50% completed and 90% paid, he walked off the job. He did not return my calls or text messages. I had no choice but to get another contractor to finish the job. After talking with several other contractors, we were told that his roof work was not structurally sound and it will need to be taken down and replaced. Needless to say we are out a lot of money and left with a inferior half done job. Very, very, disappointed in this smooth talking contractor.
