My neighbor had used Hewatt Roofing several times and referred Jerry. Jerry and Pam are terrific in terms of timeliness, responsiveness , courtesy , professionalism and workmanship. As the other reviews have stated, Jerry is is up on the roof with his crew and their is a mutual respect and admiration they share for each other. You will have an excellent experience working with both Jerry and Pam, who runs the office.

We had discovered a very small leak in our MB closet and upon inspection found we had roofing issues. We had thought about patching the roof and Jerry was amicable with discussing our options and also provided a full replacement estimate. After debating with ourselves on which way to go we decided to have the entire roof replaced. Jerry's wife Pam is super to deal with and very customer oriented even though we changed our minds a couple of times during the intital "what to do" phase. Jerry and his crew showed up promptly bright and early on the day agreed upon. We have a very large roof with steep pitch and were doubtful his crew could finish the same day. They did finish the same day, cleaned up the yard, including debris and nails. The roof looks great! We have not found a single nail anywhere! I highly recommend Jerry and is company and would call them again in a second. If you are looking for honest, hard working, and friendly you need look no further than Jerry and his wife.

Jerry came out to replace some missing shingles recently blown off our roof. To our surprise there were more missing shingles than we had expected. Jerry took pictures and shared with us, replaced the missing shingles, and ensured we had no damage in the overhead ceiling. Jerry was quick to finish the job and very professional. We will definitely use him in the future and highly recommend his services to others.

Over the past two years, Jerry has come to our house to help with minor repairs. This year, Jerry and his crew did a complete tear-off and re-roof of our house. The process was professional, careful, and completely painless from the start. The finished product is excellent, and we are confident that we now have a roof that will last. We called Hewatt Roofing after having another roofer solicit us for roofing repairs. Our neighborhood had been heavily canvased by roofers claiming our homes had defective shingles and needed full roof replacements. We were skeptical of these other roofers' claims, so we researched local quality roofers. We decided to give Hewatt Roofing a call because they have been in business for a long time, have a good track record with the BBB, and are highly rated on Angie's List. I believe that Jerry Hewatt himself came out. He did the inspection (for free) and told us that our roof looked like it was in good shape, and that we did not in fact have the defective shingles. He was very friendly, informative, and prompt. I would not hesitate to call him again if I found I needed a roofing inspection or repairs.

Mr. Hewatt and his wife are so nice. They immediately make you feel like you are using a company you can trust. The roof was replaced in a timely manner and just recently when I had the gutters cleaned, the technician expressed that he had not seen a nicer roof in a long time!

I initially contacted Hewatt Roofing on line. Mrs Hewatt responded quickly and we set up an appointment for Mr Hewatt to look at my roof and provide a quote for replacing it. He came the next day - I was not home but he was able to come up with a quote and called me that afternoon. After accepting the quote, we arranged for a day and time for them to do the work. The crew was at my house before the sun came up, delivering the shingles and decking plywood and other supplies. They immediately started removing the old shingles. I was amazed at how cleanly they did this - I went to work at 8:30 AM and they had removed the shingles from most of the roof - Mr Hewatt did say that they would replace old and damaged decking, at additional cost per sheet of plywood, which I understood and agreed to (I did have several leaks, so I knew that there probably was some damage). They installed a new ridge vent, replaced 5 sheets of decking, arranged to have some gutter replaced that had been damaged by a fallen tree and provided a 5-year warranty on all workmanship. By 2:30 that afternoon, the job was finished, all the old roof materials were cleaned away and gone, and I had a new roof. Even the old roofing nails were cleared away - I have found only 1 since then. I was very impressed with their attention to leaving the yard clean and with no evidence of having torn off an old roof. They never asked for a deposit and, after they e-mailed a final invoice, I mailed a check. It's been a year since the work was done and no leaks, no loose shingles, and I am very happy with my roof. Mr and Mrs Hewatt were very helpful, punctual and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and performed exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Hewatt Roofing.

I was impressed. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was with the work he did. He came very early in the morning before the sun had a chance to really get the roof. Whenever you put new roofing, the dull will always show. But he took the extra effort to get here very early and used what was there, and he did a wonderful job. The price was reasonable. He was knowledgeable, quick, thorough, willing to maintain the appearance of the roof by coming early, and using possible existing roofing. I used your magazine. It is my own single. He was able to say so.

Mr.Hewatt arrived on time and I showed him the area of my roof that I thought would need repair. I also asked him to inspect the rest of the roof to see if there were any potential problems that should be taken care of. After carefully inspecting my roof, to my surprise, he said that everything looked fine. The area that I thought the workmanship was suspect, was actually OK, as well as the rest of the roof. The only problem he saw was not with the roof but evidence of wood rot on the trim around the chimney area. Cost......NO CHARGE! It is hard to find someone who is honest and fair-minded as Mr. Hewatt and I will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs any roofing work done. By the way, upon request, he also recommended someone who would take care of the wood rot. Tim Johnson Contracting, LLC, located in Loganville, Ga. whose work I was equally pleased with. Mr.Hewatt and Mr. Johnson have both been placed on speed dial in my phone!

Mr. Hewatt showed up early. He began working almost immediately, before his crew arrived. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently. All debris and trash was removed. Nothing was left behind. The job was completed much faster than I expected. My new roof looks great. Mr. Hewatt provides quality work at a very reasonable price.
