He did NOT listen to what I said. While he did come back and fix things, it was the hassle of not having it done right the first time. He posted pictures of my deck on his facebook page without asking my permission (which I expressly did NOT give him). He eventually took them down, but now a month later, another picture is up again.
The original finished top boards could have been completed better by a first year shop student. He had 4 pieces in each corner of the top rail. He did come back a correctly put them on.

"Very difficult customer. After doing everything she wanted, she came out, told me thank you and that it looked good. The next thing I know she is threatening the company because there is a likeness picture of her deck on my Facebook page. There is no name or address for this deck. I build/repair decks all the time and have a list of references from over the 25 years that I can and do give out for customers to check. There should be a place where companies can go to, to check warnings on certain consumers. "Companies Beware"."
